Home made boat stuff thread
The whole front step is made out of Diamond plating. I had it laying around and I was bored. ;D I even made the front door spring loaded so it shuts on it's own. I like the lure holder on your boat and that gave me an idea for the front platform.

Home made boat stuff thread
Here's a pic of the plexiglass put in the sides to keep the wind off me when it's cold out on them cold tourney mornings ;D I just cleaned them so it's hard to see. Since I own a Fish and ski I need more storage space so I took out the middle seat and put a storage box in it's place it also acts like a step to get on the back platform. More storage space up front and a step. The last one, I always step on my rods up front so here's a rod holder out of pvc piping. The boats a mess right now getting ready to put all new carpet in.

lure question
Never tried the eel yet but the space monkey is a very versatile bait I usually t-rig it, sometimes weightless and depending on the weather I'll rig it with a swimbait hook and swim it through cover.

what's with the sexy shad dilemma?
I went down to Cabela's yesterday and I picked up a couple cranks in sexy shad color for the simple fact is in our club I've seen first hand how many fish they catch. I bought 1 in a 4s model runs 2-4 ft deep and a series 5 that runs 10-13 ft. deep. It might be the color. But for me it's well balanced crankbait. I like Strike King crankbaits for the simple fact they don't turn on their side when reeling it back to the boat like some other models do.

Cart, what if he got a larger jackplate like a 12" lift and if he put it down the whole way do you think it would change the height or would it be the same? Just a thought.

Bob Lusk on National Radio
Glenn, was it this morning? huh, must of missed it. Bob is a real nice guy. When I met him down at Kentucky lake he answered all my questions and then went into specific detail with the steps I should take to correct the problems I was having with the pond. I seen that he was doing that for anybody who asked him a question. To me that very impressive.
