  1. This ~ with either a 3/8 or 1/2 ounce tungsten weight. A-Jay
  2. Great Job man. I'd say you gentlemen started out in fine fashion. I was going to ask you what the crankbait of choice was, but you covered that above. Thanks for sharing, great story, cool photo's and bud - you live in a smb fisherman's dreamland, not only for the fish and lack of fishing pressure but the shear beauty of the back round in your photo's is sweet. 3. That is Outrageous. A-Jay

  6. Congrats on sticking that Toad ! My season is still a few weeks away, but I'm hoping to get a few that are big enough so in the photo, I will disappear behind them as well. Nice Trophy Bass. A-Jay

Congratulations on matching your PB. That bass looks real healthy. Talk about a Blue Bird Sky day, man that is it. . . . . . . . . . A-Jay

  9. Nicely Done Mike - enjoyed it. A-Jay
  10. In the North woods - everything is an on line purchase for me. http://www.superiorc...t/klal10oz.html But it's really worth it. Easy on, easy off, no residue and the product does everything it advertises. Look it up and read the reviews. It's good stuff. A-Jay
  11. I'm with the rest of the guys on a quality scale, there are several to chose from. Prior to using the scale, I was doing the "TV Fishing Host Guesstimate" method where I'd hold out the bass and say " that's every bit of 6 lbs". Well, the first thing the scale taught me was that - 6lb fish are really 5lb fish and 5lb fish are really 4lb fish and so on. . . . . . . . So if this is something you'd rather not find out for yourself, don't get a scale. A-Jay
  12. Thanks for the info Boats ~ I'm a freak when it come to vehicle maintenance / detailing. I do use that detailer alone and together with the "clay". My favorite basic painted surface deal is called Klasse All-In-One Paint Cleaner & Polish - Over the years I've tried several and this stuff is the real deal. I even use it on my baby (GTO) and then top coat it with a high quality carnuba - A-Jay
  13. I won't know for several weeks once C&R bass seasons opens here. But on another note - I hope ALL of the Mosquito's and Biting Flies hatch out right now and then All die in the multiple inevitable frosts we're bound to have. Then we'll have a Bug - Free summer . . . Who's with me . . . . . A-Jay
  14. I'd like to nominate the Michigan DNR for a suspension - for making us wait 6 weeks after Ice out to C&R bass. What the heck ! A-Jay
  15. Is that the voice of experience Dwight ? I do agree with you, this is my second black one - I take it as a challenge. A-Jay
