For A Love Of Dogs
Nice Read Sean ~ Thank You for sharing this. I think you know where I stand on this deal. We've successfully re-homed many dogs who had previously been deemed vicious, destructive and or flat out no good. Some were days from being put down. Even kept a few. #fosterfailure They might not be 'perfect', but neither am I. A-Jay

New Puppy ~
Very familiar with the leg sweep - a fairly common but still highly effective tactic. Kya can only take Tank's puppy teeth for a few minutes before she goes full send WWF on his puppy butt. Tank could care less but the slamming of his head on the deck is a bit concerning to us none canine types. A-Jay

Do you keep a finger on your line?
I hear ya ~ At this point, I don't ever think about it. I just pick up the rig and and fish it. A-Jay

New Puppy ~
Thanks ~ Kya's quite a playful girl and Tank is all about Rough & Tumble. But the size difference early on required us to keep them on lead when together. Just for safety. Now that Tank is filling out a little, which is funny to say as he's still very young, but at almost 35 pounds he's a little more durable and Kya has learned to ease up a bit. They get a few minutes of still monitored 'together' time. So it's going well. Looking forward to when they will 'nap' together but that still may be a few weeks off. The Pawz Pack Inn is a busy place these days. A-Jay

I am going to say "Yes" on this one. There may be a little more to it though so I will also supply this info below. Quick Jig Survey
For bottom contact jigs, I usually throw 3 basic colors and the trailers match them. GP, PB & J and Black & Blue. I might mix is something with a little red / orange on occasion and have been known to 'dip' the tips of a trailer's appendages in chartreuse Spike-It. A-Jay

9-11-2001 - Where were you?
Assigned at the US Coast Guard Air Station in Atlantic City, NJ As a Search & Rescue Mission Coordinator, I was busy. For a while. There wasn't much in the standard operating procedures manual to cover that insanity. Didn't seem real. Did what we always do. Get it done so others may live. Never forget ? A-Jay

favorite spinnerbaits for late summer/early fall
Sporadically at best. I have a small but well guarded collection that I only break out when things get serious. (Like this morning) Always use wire as the big pike like them quite a bit as well. A-Jay

Talons Vs Powerpoles
Any wind over say 10 mph, my rig will still spin stern to the wind even with two Talons. I fish with the wind at my back all the time. Actually prefer it. So using one talon works here for me too. The 25 inch stern helps but when it's cranking, my bilge pump comes on. A-Jay
