Powershot Tactics : What's Your Approach ?
Yup ~ I even use them with a section of tie-able wire above & below. And I bet you can probably guess why a guy would have to do that . . . A-Jay

Powershot Tactics : What's Your Approach ?
X2 ~ I fish the same exact rig with out the flouro - I use mono. I think it's interesting & kind of funny too because I never needed to look up how to tie this up, I just rigged it. And I'm most certain you did the same. Just goes to prove ~ Fisherman Fish. A-Jay

Big Water Or Small Water Preference?
Me Too ~ I also like lakes that require a concerted effort just to get to; especially the ones WITHOUT a boat ramp. A-Jay

Bait Quality ?
The single, most important, must have "Quality" that every bait I purchase needs, is that Bass like to eat it. I can manage the split ring & after-market treble hook upgrade when needed all by myself. A-Jay

How Many Lures?
Fishing from a smaller vessel, space is a precious commodity. If it's in the boat - I fish it. I'll say that perhaps 25 % on the baits have yet to produce . That about as much unproven inventory as I'm will to tote around. When a bait continues to blank in conditions I'd expect it to produce - It goes into the "probably going to get sold" box - which happens here routinely during the hard water period. btw in reference to the OP - Not doing #2 is a major contributing factor to #1. Fishing Calm Bluebird Sky Conditions
I had those type conditions today: almost 90 degrees & Flat A$$ Calm. It was Tough Sledding. LIke ww2farmer mentioned - the wind is your friend - any wind, even just a breeze. I would drop shot a rage craw around deep weedlines until a little breeze would kick up and then I could get a few bass to hit a Rage Blade w/ swimbait trailer in the same spots. Smaller bass came on the drop shot and the fish you'd be looking for came on the Blade. A-Jay

Not Catching Enough Fish. Not Doing Something Right...
I'd ask to go fishing with them. Perhaps you'll pick up some useful tips here & there. One thing is for certain, when you make enough trips with them, you'll find out first hand that everyone has "Tough Days". A-Jay

Tip For Fishing Guide?
No more or less than anyone else. Questions that cast a wide net of alleged illegal behavior, without any first hand knowledge, appear unnecessarily harsh. A-Jay

How Long Before You Continue On
When I move from one spot to the next depends on how I'm fishing at the time. If I'm on water I'm familiar with and in a spot I have a lot of faith in, I may fish for a bit, sit for a bit, fish a bit and sit for a bit. I'm usually fishing low & slow (deep & with a jig) and waiting for the fish to turn on or come to me. May take all morning or even all night. But when I'm looking for fish or on new water I'll move around a bit. The time at each depends on how effectively I feel I'm able to cover the water, how active I think the fish are & the presentation I'm using. Could be 5 minutes could be 50 minutes. Finally, I fish from a canoe so my version of Running & Gunning is different from anglers with more HP, but probably similar to yours. Good Luck A-Jay

Tip For Fishing Guide?
A Tip or Gratuity is a very personal matter between you & whomever is providing you a service. It's also different for each person & situation - tough to just throw a number up. My version of it is - if I feel there was an effort above & beyond the service I'm already paying for, them I usually reward the "Extra Effort" If I get bare minimum service, well I've already paid for that. And big fish or large numbers of fish may play a role but not ever the only factor. I try to communicate my expectations in advance so we're both on the same page. Helps a ton if we both speak the same language . . . Good Luck shimmy and have fun. And you better post pics & a story here when you get back . . . . . A-Jay

Not Catching Enough Fish. Not Doing Something Right...
Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Three weeks is not really a long time when it come to bass fishing. There is quite a bit to learn. So much in fact, that a life time doesn't seem like enough time. The good news is that although reading & watching video's can be helpful, the majority of what is "learned" happens while we're fishing. So keep at it. Good Luck A-Jay
