  2. 2X Run a red wire 12 or 14 gauge off the positive + side of your battery and a black 12 or 14 gauge wire off the negative - side you may want to add a in line fuse more then likely 3 amp fuse but check your book to be sure this will connect to the positive side first then the red wire will connect to that this will protect the unit if there is a short. Then run your transducer wire and your good to go. If you are running a T/M off of this same battery your may get noise a lot of guys op to run a small lawn mower battery to power there electronics. Hope this was of some help for your other problem I guess lose weight so you can fit your fat #%% in there to work on it.

  6. Deep cycle batteries you really don't want to drain below 60% before recharging and starting batteries more then 80% I believe there are only so many charge cycles for both batteries . If you maintain your batteries right they should last about 3 - 5 years depending on there use. JMHO

  10. Exide for 40h/p motor has more cold cranking amps the Sears for T/M more m/r amps IMHO Interstate makes a much better battery. Good Luck

  12. I use Interstate batteries and an Pro Mariner three bank on board charger no issues so far.
