Siebert Outdoors!
Mike puts the quality in his baits not the eye catching package. That's how it should be a no frills, no bells or whistles package just excellent quality baits. What more can we ask for. Thanks, Mike

Crankbait Color In Stained Water (Around 1 Foot Or Less Visibility)
Larger sized lures, rattle, brightest colors. Hot chartreuse spinnerbaits. Citrus crank. Chartreuse crank. Chartreuse blues. Firetiger. Fireperch. Chartreuse plastics. Orange? Yellow? Black? I use the hottest hot chartreuse spinner bait skirts I can find. Use a scent just a little will do. Don't be afraid to use topwater lures too. I have a cheap orange spook that drives the bass crazy.

The Funniest Thing Youve Ever Seen On The Water Or At The Ramp
We launch the used boat my son just purchased. The motor wouldn't start as the water is coming up threw a crack in the main beam. I left the boat. The son knew the leak was there he has been out before in it. He tried to fix it with cheese cloth and resin. It didn't work. I cleaned the crack and applied the resin by itself and repaired it. Another time my son forgot to put the plug in the boat. We were on the ramp. My son is very smart with two degrees in robotics and engineering. Some exceptionally smart people lack some common sense. I worked with engineers for most of my life the PhD's are even worse.

Good Lure To Fish Inside Lily Pads?
In fishing from shore I use the saltwater thing we do with a boat when the blue fish or weak fish has the bait fish boiling up on the surface. We circle the schooling fish on the outside of the circle picking them off one by one. So we don't spook the fish to go deep. I do the with the bass in the pads I throw my spook 4' to 6' away from the pads and make the bass come out to get it. This was so I don't spook the other fish in the pads. If the pads are thicker with no open water then I go weedless.

Prop Baits
With all my prop lures either its a slow reel just days enough to churn the prop or a 1 rip, 2 rip, 3 rip n pause.

Once You Find A Rod Action You Like?
It's hard to find something I like now. You guys spoiled me. I can't fish with one action of rod anymore. I kind of like the stiffer rod for topwater and c rigs. With the plastics I like to stay in contact with the bait as it falls without losing the upper 1/3rd of the rod due to bending.

Big Thanks To Siebert Outdoors!
Thanks I just ordered some of Mike's Colorado blade spinnerbaits too. I like throwing new and different brands. Mike can you make any color on the spinnerbaits too?

If Bass Are Colorblind To Blue, Why Is There No High Vis Blue Line?
The basses eyes aren't like our eyes. There seeing different colors is limited. If you read Dr. LOREN HILL experiments if it's still online the bass are limited as to what colors they can see at times. It's only a certain color or multiple colors. Quote, Bill Dance if the bass could see all the colors all of the time there wouldn't be a minnow left in the body of water. This makes me think the bass can't see the color of my crank at times but it can feel the vibration, hear the rattle and smell my bass scent. This is why I throw different colors in my ritual of baits.

Catfishing Day/night
We would be fishing for bass at a drop off from shore. As it got darker the catfish come up the drop off closer to shore. They hit our panther Martin spinfly yellow blade with the black dots with bass scent on it besides our nightcrawlers.

Smallies In River (Under 6Ft Depth)
Crawfish cranks(rebel) match the natural craw color or try chartruese, panther Martin spinfly silver blade yellow fly. I cast past the rocks that Stick out of the water and bring the inline spinners into the backwashes. Mister Twister has the craw cranks discounted.

A Big Thanks To Bassresource!
My personal challenge is to catch more on every trip. To learn every lure and different presentations that go with it. The fish are there looking for us to present the correct lure, lure color with the right depth and presentation. Congrats on your success. Never limit yourself your capabilities are endless just stay motivated and focused.

Shore Fishing Using Scents, R U Superstitious?
You guys don't wear a certain piece of clothing or favorite hat. I need a favorite hat, polarized glasses, or I'm out of sync. Once this happens I might as well stay home I lost my ability to focus.

Once You Find A Rod Action You Like?
I found a prefect rod action I been looking for its a heavy fast taper 6' spinning rod. My problem is its new old stock. Would you buy a few extra while there available? I'm older and slower on the reaction time for hook setting.

If Bass Are Colorblind To Blue, Why Is There No High Vis Blue Line?
I been told when I asked why does the rapala f7 blue original floater work so good when it's blue? I was told that under certain conditions that blue turns to brown. Maybe the blue line does too? Electric blue worms and senkos are hot here. When other colors don't work blue is my go to color.

Night Bass Fishing
Inline spinners like mepps #3 Anglia. The rumor has it after things settle down from the earlier evening bite when it turns to darkness the bass turn on again around 10pm. The old timers taught me this but I never tried a later evening bite. I like the early am better. In the dark I throw spooks, cranks as it turns to day lite.

Catching Panfish?
#10 & #8 hooks these hooks are found in the assortment cans with the longer stems. The longer stem is a quicker hook removal too.

What Is Your Most Successful Use Style With A Senko? Texas Rigged, Wacky, Texas Rigged Weighted, Other?
First I have no secrets I like to see everyone catch fish. I stop fishing to help kids too. I feel teach a kid to fish and he'll be hooked on fishing, not on drugs. I use a 1/8oz bullet weight on a Carolina rig with a 24" red Cajun 17# leader with a snap swivel with eagle claw weedless hooks with wacky rigged senkos or weedless brushogs. I believe the fall rate on the 1/8oz weight with the 17# leader is just right. It works for me from shore. One spot were there is a hangout for bass I usually catch them with cranks it was slow so I threw a gambler ace (senko) in electric blue and caught them again.
