Here he goes again... My "other" team, the mighty Red Wolves of Arkansas State, just qualified for the Darwin Award. They were 2nd in the Sun Belt behind Troy, and was supposed to go to either the Independence Bowl or the PJ.com Bowl. Well, Motor City offered them, and they refused. Let me type that again. "They REFUSED" What? You rather have no bowl than the Motor City bowl? That might be ok for you, but it upsets your fans. Rant over.

It looks like we'll have an OU-Florida matchup. I'll say this about Tebow, I like his eye black.

What did I miss? The commentators at the SEC game kept making a big deal out of the #1 vs #2 matchup. The last time I checked, OU was #2. Texas is #3 and Florida is #4. The BCS is the only polls that count! I don't know why people don't understand this. In 2003, there was no "split championship". LSU was the only champion. Now, everyone go enjoy the game that will include the #1 team in the nation and the #4 team in the nation.

I don't see how the BCS can rank teams from two different sports. The US plays football, while Europe plays futbol.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Drivers lined up in Arkansas Friday afternoon as two gas stations on Stadium Boulevard jockied for position as the provider with the lowest gas prices. Murphy Express began its grand opening in a big way, dropping prices to $1.16. But the Conoco station down the road wanted to claim the prestige of having the lowest prices, taking theirs a penny lower, to $1.15. As of the 6pm News, Murphy Express has dropped their price to $1.13 for a gallon of regular gas. No word on how low prices will go, but many thrifty drivers lined up to reap the cheap benefits of low gas prices. Gas in Jonesboro has one of the widest margins of any town in Region 8, with some stations selling Friday for in the $1.60-s while others were over 40 cents cheaper.

I used to be the same way. My friends finally talked me into getting a facebook account last month. I do not regret it.

I just finished typing up a research paper over archetypes that is due in the morning. I should have done it weeks ago. Yes, I am Mr. Procrastination. I had a couple females ask me if I could take them to the game tonight, which I regretfully declined. I need a drink. ;D

That would make sense in a 2 way tie, but you keep forgetting about Tech. Using your logic, Tech beat Texas 39-33. They settled it on the field. If OU didn't beat Tech, then Tech would have went to the championship and nobody would be arguing over anything. Under the current tiebreaker, the Big 12 picks the team with the highest ranking, and therefore the the team with the highest probability of going to the title game.

I do uses editing programs quite frequently, but don't tell yourself that you don't need a Mac just because you don't use editing software. I've used both Mac's and PC's, and the Mac outshines the PC about 90% of the time IMHO. I started using Linux a few months ago. I'm starting to like it better than everything.
