  1. They both are very good units. But I wiil have to disagree with the last post. I think the HB are more friendly to use and the HB customr service blows the socks off of Lawrance!!!
  2. With the Bass Pro Spring Fishing classic wright around the corner Feb. 23 to March 10. Has anyone got there flyer yet?
  3. Anyone fish this rod on the float-N-fly rig? Or just any info on the rod? I am thinking of the 91/2 ft. or should I look at some other rod?
  4. No one talks about the slip-bobber why? Everyone seems to like the 3 way with a fixed tag.Does a slip bobber not work well on this rig? Just trying to refine it before I give it a try.
  5. I fish them wacky and T- rig.
  6. I do fish the 4 & 5 in.Senko alot. But gander MTN. had the 7 in.! Have any of you fished the big 7 in.?
  7. I also use 65 lb. on a C-rig for deep water bass.
  8. 65 lb. is perfect for frog fishing! I would put it on a bait caster! If you have a good bait caster the drags on them are better for froggin than a spinning reel.
  9. For me it is a Paca chunk, Zoom swimming chunk,5in. grub, baby brush hog, half of a ribbon tail worm.
  10. I think I will give it a try! Our bass season opens the first Sat. in May and the water can range from upper 40's the mid 50's so it should be ok then. And I will give it a try in the spawn and deep water summer bass. And the worst thing for me is,if it does not work for me spawn/summer.I will be moving down to Table Rock late this year so I then can fish it next winter on the RocK.
  11. I have a few questions, I don't under stand why this rig won't work in the spring and summer for deep water bass or bass on beds in water up to 10 ft.? I guide and I guide at night and I would think it would be cool to fish with a bobber that lights up.I fish alot of deep water in the summer, so what do you guys think or would I be wasting my time on this rig in spring and throught the summer?
  12. What are the weights that you guys are fishing for this rig? I was looking at some 1/64 oz. and some 1/16 oz. too small?
  13. You guys that fish the float-N-fly,what kind of line are you fishing LB.test and what brand? I was thinking of mono because it floats.
  14. Do you guys fish a slip bobber or just a spring bobber on a 3 way???
  15. I fish the baby and the Tiny Paca on a drop shot,it works great. And i have played with the baby on the A-rig. draged on the bottom.
  16. What rods do you guys like? Also what size do you like?
  17. Well I think I may try it then,it won't brake me to try some.
  18. Thanks,I would think the Megastrite would do the same thing?
  19. Thanks for the input. When I am at the BPS Classic I will have to pick me a long rod. Glenn I could not get to the info that you posted for me.Is that how it is spelled?
  20. Thanks, good to know, I will just stay with the Megastrike. I have a few tubes yet. But a pet store?????????????????????????
  21. I did see a video on this Fish Dope that they where putting on a small hair jig.It is more of a gell,I would just like to know where I can buy some?
  22. Any help wpuld be great. What rod, line, bobber, jig do you guys fish to target bass? I did fish this rig for the first time last year with some good fish. But I may pick up something that will make it better.
  23. The A rig was good to me last year! I did target pre spawn females in deep staging areas with the A rig and i caught many nice bass, and the rig works great post spawn again when the females move out to feed again. The A rig bite falls off when the bass get into there summer patterns and I was getting more Pike than anything. But the A rig shines in the fall all the way up to ice up.
  24. I would vote for the big Brush Hog. I do VERY well with the big Hog up here in Wi. For me they bite the big Hog better that the Baby. I like to fish then on a T-with a 1/8 oz weight or C-rig with a 1/2 oz. weight.
