I work part time at a Gander store and one of the managers told me to pick out any of the older lines that they were going to throw out. So I did take a bunch of XT & XL.But he had a big spool of Power Pro 80lb. braid that I did take.I fish 65 lb. braid on my frog rod,C-rig,A-rig.So would the 80lb. be over kill or not??

Well, I will have to give them a try. Like I don't have enough plastic!!! The GY Senko's are not cheap $ 7.99. Are The BPS or the Dingers 6in. and 7in. as fat as the GY?

I do fish big worms like fenesse or a ribbon tail in a 7in. up to 15in. But these senko's are just big and FAT.

I was looking at the 6 in. and 7 in. Senko's at a Gander store! Man these things are BIG,they look like a cigar! Do any of you guys fish the big dog?

Get some Strike king floating worms in pink and fish it on a drop shot! HANG ON! Oh, by the way don't tell anyone in Wisconsin!

One of the best hooks out there!! I have fished VMC's for along time and I never had a problem with them. Up here in Wi. they were hard to find for awhale but are showing up again in the Gander stores.i hope Bass Pro starts to carry all the VMC hooks.

This rig is a killer rig when they are on the beds! They can't take two of them coming into the nest,they get very upset!!

And if you are not setting the hook on a tap,tap,tap,and thinking it was a bluegill,you are missing alot of bass!

Like the others have said,the side hook set is the way to set the hook.If you set upwards you use the weight against you. As for the tap,Tap,Tap, that is not always a bluegill. I fish the C-rig alot and I have had many tap,tap,tap,that were very big bass!!!!

My good friend who does fish the BFL takes garlic and he does smash up the garlic in a baggie and lets his worms in there for a whale.And it works for him!

   I would give them a call and ask for Rob. He is a stand up guy and he will back up his product like francho said. I don't think it is L&L cond. I think it is the line.BPS XPS FC is a bit off colored anyways. I have used it before and never went back!

I only put sent on soft baits.For me a crank and a top water are reaction baits and the bass don't to get a good look at them as they would with a plastic.

   Two great baits for sure!!! I like to also fish swim jigs,lipless cranks,C-rigs,t-rigs,jerk baits and I target water temps in the early spring from upper 40's to low 50's and I look for points near spawning ares and fish the first and second breaks,that is where the big females start to stage.And it can differ from lake to lake and water depth.But it is a good starting point.

I do put Megastrike or JJ's on plastic that already has sent of that worm. I fish alot of the Netbait product that has pork cooked into the plastic and I still will use JJ's or Megastrike on it! Maybe some don't beleave in sent or dye's and that is there wright! But for me I won't be without it! I know many of the pro's also use sent, and that sent they use is not there sponser. I have been on the water way too many times that I can say for sure that the sent that I had on my bait DID make a inpact on the fish and not me!

   You are correct about the jig! What I should have said, I put it on the skirt AFTER I put it on the trailer! I have very little on my finger when I rub the skirt just enough to give the skirt some sent.My skirts never stick together.Thanks for that heads up!

   Another thing I do is put some Megastrike into a tube bait so it has a slow release and when the bass hits the tube it will not let go!!!!!

I put alittle on my finger and rub it up & down my worm,brush hog or what ever plastic I am fishing. Alittle goes a long way. If I fish a jig I rub it into the skirt & trailer!

If I didn't have my tube of Megastrike I would have that feeling you get when you leave your watch at home or your glasses! That IS NOT A GOOD FEELING! If I fish in my buddy's boat the first thing I pack is my Megastrike!

They have there place! Do I use them all the time NO ! I like the Megastrike alot and I use it when I have heavy weed growth so it helps my bait slid throught the weeds better and I do think they will hang on longer! With JJ's Magic,I use that ALWAYS, if I am fishing after a cold front and I think it makes a BIG impact on my fishing after a front.And both sents/dye mask our human sent that we put on the bait by handling the bait.I will use one of these two sents about 70% of my fishing.I have at times out fished my boat partner 3 or 4 to one with me fishing JJ's or Megastrike>and I have used just about every sent out there and I always cam back to the JJ's & Megastrike!!! And I will fish these two untill they stop making them or untill I stop puffing air!!!!!!!!!!!!
