  1. If they vote it in then it makes it a evan playing field for everyone!! So how can one have a advantage when they all can fish it?? For me, I say go for it.
  2. These rods are another rod maker's MH,they are stiff tip rods.
  3. I take it there are no spinning? If not I can always use another casting at that price anyways!
  4. I did retire about two years ago and i work part time at Gander in the fishing dept.! At our store they tend to bend over backwards at times. So go back to that store and ask to speak to the fishing manager or the store manager and show him the rod you wanted and the cond. it is in and ask for a % off.I bet you they give you something, the worst they can do is say no.
  5. I use # 3 or # 1.
  6. Have any of you fished this tournament? And any info would help. I was thinking of trying it next year when I move down to Table Rock.
  7. Just try this rig, like I said it is a killer in the spring when they are on beds too. I have used paddle tail swimbaits, lizards, fin. worms, and the big Paca craw on the Donkey rig.But these baits don't have the same crazy darting action as a fluke but it works!
  8. First make sure you have the wright set up,I mean rod, line, reel! You want a big rod like a flippin stick or a rod with a x-fast tip and at least a 7 ft. rod,and the line ,no less that 65 lb. braid and a good reel that has a good brake system.
  9. This rig has been around for along time! Great in the fall and early spring or whenever baitfish school up.
  10. Ok,thanks again for the help. I will have to get me some Jika rig tackle!
  11. Thanks Francho for all the help! one more question, do you think the two rings should be the same size or different size's??
  12. I was looking at the Sampo # 3 split rings and the # 1 rings. what do you guys think, are these rings Ok?
  13. I think the line goes to the hook eye,I am talking about the two split rings, one for the weight. I have never used or tied one one yet?
  14. What size split rings are you guys useing on this rig??
  15. You have to order some Bull Gill in the swim jig or the flip & Swim, this is a killer in the spring and in the summer too but it shines in the spring when they are on beds!!
  16. Just take a ear plug and roll it in your fingers to make it small and long and then push it into the Paca craw.It will expand once it is in the Paca and now it will float. No need to cut!
  17. Them are cool colors Chris!!!!!!! Got to get a few!
  18. I would like to be a marshell on Table Rock because I will be moving there late this year. I would think they are booked up this year! A day late and a doller short!!!!
  19. The Quantum is a 7:1 and I think the PQ is 6:4 and i was going to set it up as my Jika rig rod.
  20. My brother is letting me pick one of these two reels. The PQ is about a year old and used just a few times and the Quantum is a few years old but again used just a few times.Which reel is better? Both are BC reels.
  21. I think it would be cool to do one time. So who do I contact to get a form to sign up? Do I call BASS HQ or the FLW HQ?
  22. Just mix it up.Stop and go,jerk it,or swim it back, one of the ways I liked to fish it was swim and shake the rod.Great bait that can cover skinny water to the deep water.I don't think it is a foot a second because a senko sinks a foot a second and the count down is less than a senko. I could be wrong about the weight ?
  23. In water temps of 40's I fish a pork trailer. And when the water gets in the low 50's I go to a Baby Paca or a Tiny Paca craw, 5in. grubs. And when they it into there summer patterns I go with trailers like the craws, the Netbait Dirt Dawg put on backwards, brush hogs, ribbon tail worms, lizards, beavers, paddle tail swimbaits, and I will fish these up to late fall.
  24. Zseen, nice jib,it is always nice to cash a check. What bait did you use on the jika?
