  1. Run a dedicated circuit for the air conditioner. 12 wire.
  2. I wouldn't walk across the street for a stocked pond for the purpose of catch and pay, but if it were a pond that was casually stocked I think it would be fun. Occasionally I come home with much more to talk about than the big fish I caught; being on the lake or walking the river bank gives you more than you'll ever find fishing something that is manipulated to that extreme. As said above, an ultralite and a mad bluegill can be the fight of your life.
  3. I figure the fish has an internal pressure, but at 2,000ft. it just doesn't seem possible. Dave, FWIW, I have been thinking about the magic theory, I'm not convinced. ;D
  4. Cool video Robert. What I wonder is, at 2,000 feet and no skeletal structure around the head, how does it keep itself from imploding?
  5. Hey Russ, welcome to the best site around! 8-)
  6. Welcome to BR, there's alot of good people runnin' around here!
  7. Welcome to BR, your gonna find more answers than you have questions; there's a lot of information on this site.
  8. I bought the DH3000 a couple of years ago and it's been a good reel or me. It also started making a bit of a whiny noise on the retrieve but it hasn't been an issue with performance. The round knob does take some getting used to, but the fact that it is different doesn't mean that it doesn't function. Everyone's take on the handle knob is going to be different. If you like the reel, but not the round knob on the handle, Hannon has a replacement handle available for about $15. It's actually for the DHxl model, but fits the DH3000s.
  9. Yup, I would say Gary outfitted you well. 8-)
  10. Bic single blade disposables...
  11. Ya, I get it.. I was watching the Pack beat up on Seattle and got bored. ;D
  12. Sequel; little Jimmies twin brother, who by chance is missing the same eye, returns for revenge...
  13. Salt water, but I thought they were pretty cool:
  14. Early on it looked like it was gonna be a game.
  15. And to think you still have all that free time!
  16. Didn't you say that your favorite was the brand new football helmet? You know, the leather one. ;D
  17. The Winnebagos, yup. Mine was off white with green lettering. Metal with a plastic hinged lid, right? Used to drive it like I stole it.
  18. Going to do some more looking today. Thanks 8-)
  19. Glad your safe man, that stuff will kill ya before you know you hit it. When you can walk away without being hurt it is a good way to gain new respect for bad winter driving. I watched a guy get killed coming around a curve just like that a few years ago, He went broad side into the semi ahead of me. We were driving on the shoulder at 20mph and he was coming at 50-60mph. In the end we found that the black ice began half way through the curve; he never had a chance. Two of the most helpless feelings are black ice and hydroplaning. Again, glad no one was hurt. 8-)
  20. Welcome to BR Andew
  21. Nice job on the vid man, looks like you had a busy summer. 8-)
  22. I wouldn't do it, you'll be missing the end of your rod in no time. As they say, "the right tool for the right job".
