  1. Yup, I actually decided on what to do yesterday. This company had a bit of a rebirth back in February with new ownership. I've talked with this employee and explained that I was glad he made the choice to bring this to me and that it showed good character on his part. With that, I have decided to consider this a bit of a fresh start being that the new fiscal year is at our doorstep, and bring the others up 50 and him back 25 so they are all on an even field for now. When the time comes I will talk with the crew and explain what I have done as well as what I expect from them. Again, I appreciate everyone's imput on this.
  2. Welcome to the forums J 8-)
  3. If this topic needs to go, so be it. I just think it's stupid that the public needs to pay for this: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,579587,00.html?test=latestnews His attorney says it would be unfair for him to be judged because of his tattoos. :
  4. A couple of years ago I rigged up a new SX and Avid, made a couple of test casts, put it down, grabbed my cranking rod, and on the first cast I hooked my new combo and launched it into 20 ft. of water. Butt's over elbows, but I was able to hook it with the end of my cranking rod before it sank to far.

  7. I'd be packin' a tent and spending the weekend on that water. A regular Garden of Eden. Like TrippyJai said, post like this including these little secluded spots are awesome. I notice in the one pic that there is a short railing and what looks like black top. Is that part of the trail or maybe an area for hikers to camp?
  8. Thunder, rain, and wind? Sounds like you were on a divine mission. At least the fish kept you guys busy. 8-) Your buddy Pat reminds me of dick from the road trip, looks like they could be brothers.

  20. Cool story man, glad you were there when the little person got water logged. At 10, there is still lots of good times to be had for you and him.
  21. Except for the fact that I am the one that set their wages and rate the performance of each, it is an HR issue. The issue I will have is on the floor if HR doesn't get it right, so I feel responsible in getting this righted. In talking with her, I found what had happened was that when the raises were put into the system, this individual accidently was grouped in with a different department.
  22. How does a rod get busted in two in a pvc tube? I would think it must have been dropped from aways up and on end. Luckily for me all the rods I have ever received ended up at my door in good shape. I did have one like Cart7 where the cardboard (usps) was mangled, but somehow the rod came out unscathed.
  23. Thanks guys; honestly FBL if I went with your first thought, I don't know if I would be able to run fast enough. I'm not quite as agile as I used to be. ;D
