My summer has been great! I'm in Sac, CA. This summer has been relatively cool compared to the normal temp. Can't complain about this year as I caught my PB twice...two 7 lbers. Tight lines.

Has anyone watch this? Man, this is some good stuff...definitely not for the faint of heart. I watched 13 episodes this past weekend and hope episode 14 comes out soon.

I had a premier spinning rod for quite some time and liked it but definitely can't go wrong w/ the Avid for just a tad little more.

I'm with you. I have no patience w/ slow baits. I'm what they call a chuck and winder. All I do is chuck and wind all day long.

I'd go w/ Shimano. I purchased a couple of Revo STX's and love the drag power on their guys but they felt bulky and heavy.
