Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say HELLO to everyone and introduce myself. I've been a recent lurker of this site and finally decided to join so I can ask questions as well as answer them to share knowledge with others in this forum.

I've been away from fishing for several years due to work and with the completion of several projects and extra time on my hands, I am now wanting to get back into it.

I already have a mix of spinning and casting tackle but to welcome myself back into the world of fishing, I treated myself to the latest Revo STX-L with dual braking to pair up with my GLoomis GL2 Med-Heavy 6'6" fast action rod. Before the Revo, I was using a much older Quantum E500 Energy reel. It was a great reel but it had to be retired. And just so you know, I love fishing in both fresh and salt water for black bass, stripers, lake trout, salmon and anything I can get on the end of my hook.
