  1. I have to say that last article was great JT. I am a non-boater and I agree with what you are saying. It makes me feel better about fishing in the ABA at this time although I would like to take a crack at the pro level at some point. I do feel that they do need to make some drastic changes in the rules or as you said they might drive anglers away on the non- boater side. Keep up the great writing.

  3. What got me was that they were getting their rods snapped like they were toothpicks

Great job Glenn, it looks great broken up into more catagories... keep up the great work
  5. Same here in Massachusetts as long as we get past this 2-3 feet of snow today. YIKES.... hold on bass I will be there soon!!!
  6. I'm in JT thanks and lets win it all!!! Bassincnr
  7. A friend of mine knew a guy in Maine who was caught with no license and they took his tackle, boat and summer house in Maine( he was a non-resident) and told him if he wanted it back he had to go to the auction. He was charged with poaching. So I will never go without a license.
  8. Here in Massachusetts it is also 28 for a resident fishing license. Ours go from Jan1-Dec31. I do feel that its worth it especially because if you are caught without one you can face a $500 first time charge and they will take all of your equipment including your boat.
  9. I am from Newton Massachusetts by way of New Hampshire and dont know why there are not pro level tournes in this area. We have some HUGE lakes in New England.
  10. Perhaps you could also do a structure based casting contest showing how bass relate to it in the water, simulating docks.logs and boulders and you could construct it all with cardboard from the store.
  11. Gerald Swindle is my favorite power angler and Denny Brauer is my favorite finess angler
  12. I have a question about these. I was wondering the basics on both. This is something I want to practice while the lakes are ice covered and I am waiting. Thanks all
  13. JT I recieve them by email and print them for future reference. I also wanted to say that it is great that you are also a part of the basstalk section so that way when we have questions on a subject you get back to us right away. Keep up the great work and looking foward to more articles.
  14. Some of the lakes up here in New England I will see crankbaits floating in the water and if I am shore fishing I will cast a topwater and pull them in. I feel that us as anglers we need to be as clean as possible. Some people do swim in these areas and I am sure they dont want a rusty hook in their foot.
  15. my favorite at this point is the bagley fat cat 3-5 foot depth ....love it. Sure it will change soon though!!
  16. I personally think Fish was done wrong. But there are two sides to every story.
  17. Thanks JT. Wow you dont fool around on your targets LOL.
  18. Hey Crankbait I was wondering if you used any of there tackle and how it is Thanks
  19. I hope it was not a contract thing and they just got rid of him. Hopefully somebody will pick him up ....mabye the FLW tour.
  20. I live in MA and the ice over can drive you crazy so I pratice alot to keep in tune. I like JT's idea though with that set-up. JT if you could give a detail of what you have on your set-up that would be great thanks
  21. what happened to him, why did they fire him. ??? I really liked him.
  22. I would pitch a jig with craw trailor well past then and hop it back to the dock slow and hope they grab on. The other option would be to burn a crankbait over the tops of the weeds.

  24. It is great to see a discussion on this one. I see that a few of you need to fish deep water in order to pull fish.. which is great .Up here in New England we have some spots that are 2000 acres and the deepest spot is only 11 feet so it keeps the tackle choices low. Keep em coming!!!
  25. Here is one for you and one that I see alot of anglers divide on. Is your ideal fishing in shallow water or deep water. And just for the sake of it lets say that deep is 15 feet or more. I love to fish shallow water ....the shallower the better because I like to target fish. Thanks all & lets see the answers
