  2. Smallmouth Muskie Pike Red Fish Snook Goliath Grouper Peacock Bass Alligator Gar Sturgeon and two that will probably make you go :-? Pickerl Perch
  3. Both look pretty sweet....dig the skull
  4. Last year's model seems like a good reel but I'm not much for the matte finish or whatever it is
  5. That's was my first thought when i read this ;D
  6. How could a different sound be bad...I understand that it's not what you expected but it can't be bad...keep it around and one day when the bite is off it may be the hot ticket
  7. Already garbaged....it was like a semi solid candle wax covered in KY jelly
  8. I really like the zero's and keep them separate in packs but somehow I accidentally threw in some non zulu baits with my zulu's....you live....you learn :-[
  9. The last I heard, some of the closest generators were in marion ohio and going for about 1200 for a small one. The closest kerosene heater was nashville tn. We got it kinda bad here in Richmond KY as well... last tuesday I had 1 1/2' of ice on my car and took me 45 minutes to get 1 mile to work... got power now but had to sleep at the hospital a few nights....we had over 12,000 peope without electric on Wednesday.
  10. I have heard the replacement story from several people that actually buy damaged reels and have new ones sent back by quantum...sounds decent to me
  11. The white with blue flake baits were accidentally mixed in this fall and well here you go
  12. That's the best color of bomber they sell.
  13. Just wondering what speed reel you guys prefer for fishing spinnerbaits
  14. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=51335470
  15. I thought it was Mac Wheakley that caught her at her largest and released her because she was foul hooked
  16. My E7 is paired with a Kistler Magnesium TS MgMWCRH70 which is a 7' H. It feels like a great combo but haven't had the chance to break it in as it was bought in Dec. If you're on a budget or don't want to drop alot on a rod I would suggest the Mojo Bass rod...It seems to be a descent rod but haven't had any experience with it
  17. I don't remember the warranty details but I think it's Lifetime to original owner with replacement for normal use damage. yeah, my 6'10'' MH does feel a little "spongey" at the tip but when put to practice does impede any action of the rod. The Cumara will be a little stiffer at the tip but I don't really know hoe you could go wrong with either/
  18. I chose 5:1...that's what I use....don't do much deep crankin but it is well suited for all my needs
  19. foam seems to hold smell a little easier than cork
  20. Berkley Vanish, Viscious Flouro Fence Wire, Gulp stinking minnows, just about anything in the .99 box at Wal-Mart, which I frequent, and these 9" FLW brand "things" that had a fish type body with googley eyes and a huge grub type ribbon tail.
  21. I've got Hot Sauce in a Daiwa for about a year. I've also used it in a couple of Quantums. I've seen no negative effects other than it actually stains brass gearing. It is fast stuff, and easy to apply since its RED. I've found better products, some are more suited to high end bearings, and offer no gain on typical OEM bearings. Its always easiest to stick with Shimano for Shimano, Daiwa for Daiwa, etc. but one weird thing - I've never seen a Quantum come off the shelf with Hot Sauce in it. I wonder why? My Energy was sauced in box
  22. I only have a BPS Crankin Stick but it is a great rod for the price...especially when on sale like now
  23. Definitely a sharp reel but I'm sure the price tag is too
