It's a combination of things. Every package, right down to the tiny envelope is tracked. That computer board I carry has every package in it that is in the truck. For example, if you live a 2 main and I get to your house, scan the package. If you just have that 1 pkg, my screen for 2 main will now show "0". If you had 3 pkgs coming, it would say "2". In short, that pkg is on paper as being on my truck. 99.997% of the time, it is. Now, ethics wise, I make decent money, have great bennies and retirement. I had to load trucks at 3 am for 7 yrs to get this full-time position. Is that worth a TV or a VCR or a temper tantrum? Nope. There is also the side of it that I know most of the people that ordered whatever I just trashed. Lastly, there is pride. I gripe often about the company because I see many ways to do it better and having happy employees at the same time. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm part of somthing that, even though it's just delivering boxes, NOBODY does it as well or with as much pride as Big Brown. I know I'm biased but it pertains to the question. So in short, it's a matter of all these things combined. It's just somthing that doesn't happen. UPS is very good at maintaining accountability. With their people AND their money. This will always be the driving factor for anything the company initiates, including a top notch "loss prevention" dept.

I'm a firm believer in the phrase "it's not the car, it's the driver" If I hit the lotto, I'll be throwing the same as RW but as long as I have to dish boxes for my money, I'll use the Presidents. I believe the shimano line is just as capable in the Presidents price range. (Symetre?) But then again, I feel that most major manufacturers make a respectable product. Diawa, shimano, penn,.......can't go wrong. Besides,.....It's all about the colors, which one looks better??lol

That current probably deserves more respect. Current can be decieving. What looks like a slow mover can take the feet right out from under you. I'ver used Optima for years in car audio. I bought 2 optimas last year but got the wrong size. Sears didn't have the ones I wanted so I traded 1 of the optimas for 2 brand new diehards and they refunded me for the other one. The reason I tried the optimas was because they were so much lighter. Weight was the only issue ,....but I got them in the wrong size,lol. 1/2 the weight, twice the price!

Ya know, that's the vibe I get just from knowing a bunch of Texans from the forum. This Christmas I made a cake to bring to my brothers and made a stencil of the LBH Bully Bass. This is the test run on my kitchen table with confectioners sugar. Cake came out awesome, forgot to take pic of finished product. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this. I want to make a larger stencil and include the LBH name in an arc above it and spray paint it on my front deck. Like this but without the words "fishing team" and with the fish 2X larger. Opinions? Look cool, stupid, special paint anyone know of?
