Remember that old ranger commercial, rear view of a bass boat in what looked like the outer banks,lol and they hit a wave and the nose went up and was all but straight up and down, one more degree or a bad gust and they would have flipped. It may even have been at the beginning of bassmaster one year I think. That was sick. White knuckle entertainment.

I've had somthing similar happen. first off, I'm sorry for your families loss. Senko77's 98 grandmother passed this week also. 98. If only we all can last that long. A bunch of guys that skied together on the U.S. Freestyle team decided to do a reunion in Boston a few yrs ago. It was just odd because we skied during the time when the snowboard had JUST come on the scene and the mogul skier was considered the "anarchist" of the mtn. Now, most are married with kids, wear a suit for a living,etc. Then there was Pete. He hasn't changed. He now coach's for the J3's. (Youth-Olympic hopefuls)

Many of you may recognize the name of this band from my videos last summer. I found this band while chatting on the Tower of Power web site. This band is the epitomy of the music I love. The stuff gets me going. Some is pumped, some is emotional, all of it ,however, is tightly woven and packed with tight arrangements and a solid funk/soul bass line. OK, I did a search today on google and I had to laugh, one of my videos is the 1st hit for "Mingo Fishtrap",lol. I found their m y s pay ce page and there is a video clip there of the band live. Holy crap!!! These guys are having FUN! Classic instruments too,...remember the B3 organ? So, reading the profile, I learned somthing really cool. The lead singer/guitar player and the bass player are father and son! How cool is that? Also, if you are from Texas and don't get your butts to see these guys live YOU'RE CRAZY!!! Even if you HATE the music,....CHECK OUT THE CROWD!!!

Just saw the commercial. "torture tested in the gulf of Mexico" saltwater= soft water freshwater=hard water ask anyone who has ever waterskied in both!! Now, don't get me wrong, I think Triton makes a fine quality boat but why would you advertise that it was TORTURE tested on soft water? Lake Erie,.....that's a place to brag about torture testing.

Personally, I think if somthing needs changing, change it, why wait for a specific day. I do understand the idea though. Having others doing the same for support, and setting a date or making a plan is some peoples way of getting things done. So what's it going to be? smoking, drinking, using only shimano? What's your vice and how do you plan on changing it?

For this year, I'd have to say capt Cali. His first 2 fish over 10lbs. Not sure why he didn't make the poll but then again either did I, fishChris, rolo, Avid,Fluke, Senko77,......lol 8-);D 8-)

Maybe if you get a bigger stocking, Santa could then get you a backhoe. Nice to see folks who see projects like these as "fun" and not "work". It's all relevant I guess,huh? Seeing as how it's 500 acres, I would say both. Trial and error. Good question. One thing for sure is I would find the deep spot on the warm water side and sneak some wood in there. Brushpiles, pallets,etc. PVC trees work very well.

Remove some carpet and get us some pics and we should be able to walk you right through the repair. Pictures will help lots.

What site are you using? I have loaded those file types to Youtube and photobucket with no issues. OH WAIT!! When you are done building video, you have to select "save to computer". This converts it to a wmv file. That should be the issue. It will also ask you if you want to save a copy in the mswmm format. I always choose to so if I want to go back and change somthing in the video, I still can. Let me know if this is the issue.

Funny stuff Hale. Folks, read the fine print in his post. Water, peeing out of the side of the engine,lol. Are you the guy that uses the drawer on his d: drive as a coffee holder? lol While I'm here, I have an issue with an old shimano reel, every time I get a nice fish, it makes a gear ripping sound, just terrible, and I'm sure the reel is failing because when it's a BIG one, the line still comes off the spool. Any suggestions other than "buy a pflueger?" oh man.....lol

That coffee chain has moved into New England with force. Gues where I won't be buying my coffee anymore. Absurd! If anything, they should have tried to pick him up and sponsoir him themselves. I'm making it my duty to spread the word Monday to all the UPS drivers. we are Teamsters and will back somthing like this. many guys gather at those coffee shops at the end of the day to take their lunch breaks together. It's a small impact but it's also a few less dollars to fuel those ridiculous lawyers.
