This pic was on "rumor control", a segment of "The Daily Buzz". Rumor has it that it is a real pic taken by a hunter on Wyoming. 1/2 true. The pic is real but was taken by a professional photographer. The eagle was eating the frozen carcass and the fox tried to nuzzle in. Bad move. Although this skirmish remained land bound, they stated that a Golden Eagle certainly can carry a fox high into the sky should it choose to do so. Pretty cool.

This reminds me of a comedian who was talking about mother Earth once. He was commenting on the "save the Earth" bumper stickers and saying,...."don't worry about mother Earth, she's seen much worse, worry about yourself!" Earth will survive if the temps rise too high or if I dump all my used oil in a nearby stream. Humans and their food sorces,....well that's another story, but EARTH,.... she'll be just fine. I would be curious to know, however, what the creatures that are at the apex of the next mass extinction will be like. Dinosaurs,us, what's next?

I've barely touched my B/c gear in maybe 5-6 yrs. I'm the oddball but my catch ratio certainly hasn't been effected. If anything it has gone up but my main priority in the clear water I fish is DISTANCE. Long cast gets the bass.
