  1. Sounds like you got the right one then,...whew,...you had RW worried, lmao. ;D Muddy, we better not catch you using it for stickball on some brooklyn street corner either!!! Alpster was trying to figure out why you wanted to use a 130 lb class tuna rod blank, lol. Ronnie- very nice gesture, you certainly embody the spirit of the season! Kudos.
  2. pic? How much did it come out to each?
  3. You're a real kid at heart. 8-)
  4. read back, it's not a buffering issue, it plays on-line videos fine. Just not the ones saved on my computer.
  5. Yea, great analogy. EW-He's reffering to the sociology of their fans, not the individuals themselves
  6. nevermind, found it, defragging now. Thaks guys.
  7. Amen! Get involved, make a difference. Don't know where to start? Let me help. www.castforkids.org You won't regret it, I personally promise.
  8. When I play one of my videos, the playback is choppy. The picture freezes and the music still plays and then the pic catches up and freezes again etc The odd thing is, I'm playing these right off my computer but if I go to you tube, those play fine. ?????? Usually it's the other way around. A buffering issue. Any suggestions? new version of media player recently downloaded but it's the same w/ realplayer, etc
  9. I always fell under the art and lanuages category moreso than the maths. The old right brain ,left brain dominant theory. For now I'm just gonna keep going to BIG fish water with baits I know work and make a many casts as humanly possible while still making the rent, phone and car payment. I don't know if there's a graph for that yet but I know there are a few videos.
  10. 17. If you are an insurgent,...this would be a good time to duck. 18. Hell yea I miss my FAMILY 18. I got your back 19. see eighteen (18) 20. I'm on it 21. We could keep going to 1000 but the word embodies the drive within an American, somthing words often come close too but always fall shy of depicting. It's kinda like loyalty to family, the willingness to die for your brother soldier but a huge dose of fairness, compassion and equality when the cards are on the table. See? All those words and still not even close. Check this out HOO-AH. used in this context to mean THANK YOU When I hug my family this weekend, I will remember that there are guys my age from the next town over who can't do the same. Recognized. Appreciated. Sidenote- I have heard of many areas of the deployed military where they can access the net but cannot respond to anything. Like internet with "incoming" only. understandable, you don't know who is reeading or you could give valued info and not even realize it in cassual conversation. If this is true and you guys are over there reading, no worries, we feel your spirit. Feel our support. Spread the word to other soldiers that some simple old bass fishing forum board is keeping your plight actively in the spotlight so we don't forget. We comment on you all the time, if ever you can reply or when you get back, we'd love to meet you. I know if I were deployed tomorrow, A site like this would certainly help me to stay strong. Knowing that the average joe from backwoods USA is aware and awaiting your return. Never forgotten, return soon. Merry Christmas, and still,...not enough words
  11. The local news did a clip on this guy tonight. Seems all we hear on the news are the seasons bad stories, kids stealing decorations, blah, blah, blah THIS is the kind of stuff we need more of. For the segment on TV,he gave a great used suv to a mom that was recommended to him by a battered womens shelter director. Her old car had no antenea, half the dash was missing, 1 mirror, the sliding door was smashed along with just about every body panel and had bullet holes in the windshield. ALL FROM HER EX. She took her daughter and ran and is starting new. The car Santa blew her away. She was stating how now her little girl wont get ridiculed when she gets dropped off at school, etc. This will make all the difference to a woman who is working so hard at doing the hardest thing there is. The right thing. This boost will help her continue to achieve. I guess he started out with a used car dealership and gave one away every year but got addicted. Business went under and now hes struggling. The show it was on announced tat this guy has gotten so addicted to changing peoples lives, he is very late on his own car payment. The show was going to pay off his car. Merry Christmas to him. Just thought I'd share somthing good. Hope everyone stays safe this weekend, drive carefully and like troutfisher said,..."you can never tell them enough..." ANYONE ELSE WITH A POSITIVE CURRENT EVENT STORY?
  12. sounds like a dink-a-thon. I gave up the bank beating and the high numbers for a chance to get the bigger fish. I guess if you're going for a record.... Still, a good read is a good read and only $7
  13. Bass Xl- One of the benefits of creating an account is that you don't have to fill out that info every time you order somthing. You enter it initially during the sign up and that's it.

  15. Welcome to New England, lol. Man, we are really regretting putting the boats away.
  16. [move]CAN I GET A HOO-AH??[/move] For the soldiers overseas, such a tough time of year to be away from their families and friends. Hoping they find comfort in each other and as always, wishing them a safe and speedy return home. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO THE TROOPS HOO-AH
  17. Word. You can never say it enough.
  18. What a let down,....I THOUGHT he was gonna talk about practice man. Ya know,......Practice. Counter was on that video, 15.5 The point 5 sent me over the edge.
  19. Thomas, I feel your pain. I am a cat owner and have had either a cat or dog all my life. That just sucks. I personally would peobably be bitter. Not so much at UPS but at that driver. Accidents happen, we are on properties and in neighborhoods every day. I have had a few close calls myself with pets but not because of my lack of attention or ignorance. Seeing as you had even had words w/ him previously about his speed, I would be really angry, after I was done being sad. I would also expect accountability. Some parts of the country, the union isn't as strong. In RI, we don't speed. That's lost $$. In fact, if I was ever spoken to about my speed ON someones property, I wouldn't even pull on the property anymore. Out of respect, and out of the fact that it takes alot longer to walk the package in. Which means my route takes longer to do, i.e. more money. When I have met drivers from other parts, it seems life can be alot different. with a strong union, making adjustments like that one stop I described is easy and gets done. If you don't have a strong union, the driver ends up sucking up that time and rushes to stay on schedule. We are timed by the 1/100 of a minute, not 60 seconds, it's that tight. This pressure, with weak union representation makes for a staff that is always rushing to make their #'s. I'm babbling, sorry. I guess I'm just saying I'm Really sorry about your loss.
  20. Going through my mail, I have a repeat question. "why does it say on the website "pkg not in system" when I try to track my pkg?" This means that the company has processed your order (lets say last night's order) and it has gotten a label and is waiting to be picked up by the UPS guy. If you ordered last night, and you track today, it will say this until we get there, load up the truck and scan theirr manifest (known as an "end of day"). Within 1 minute of scanning the manifest, the tracking # will update to say "origin scan" and a time stamp. Now we have it and it's on it's way.
  21. Wow Risk, I'm touched. For real. Thanks. All the kind words are great folks, thank you. I hope everything gets to you on time this week, if anyone is having issues with UPS and you think I may be able to help, feel free to send me a yell.
  22. Catt, how do you get resin to stick to Aluminum w/o peeling and cracking off? I've seen people try this but have never seen anyone be successful. My boat had one of these patches on it when I bought it, it was all but falling off. That crack is welded now.
