  1. This might be weird, but I use a spinning reel with the handle on the left. I can't stand a casting reel that is left handed. :-? It just don't feel right.
  2. Caught my PB smallmouth in a murky river last year on a Smoke/Black Flake Storm Rattle Tube.
  3. What I think is funny is that the Senko, one of the all time greatest fish-catchers, is the simplest lure I've ever seen. Here we have Rage Tails, Yum LPT, and all this fancy stuff. Senkos still outfish them all.
  4. Abu Garcia Cardinal 500ALBi reel with a Field & Stream Spin Drop Shot Shaky HD rod. The rod can be bought at Dick's, and the reel can be bought at Bass Pro.
  5. Chartreuse/White, Chartreuse/Red, Chartreuse, White, and Black
  6. Yep. That's a drum.
  7. It'll all get better soon, man!
  8. I try to throw the more weedless type lures, unless I plan on swimming. I don't like wasting money on stuck lures.
  9. Make fun of me all you want, but I am just fine with a Walmart $1 spinnerbait. When it breaks, go buy another one.
  10. @ranger 361: WHY ARE WE TALKING IN ALL CAPS? ARE YOU MAD AT THE GUY OR SOMETHING? :-?
  11. I can't figure out how to make the jersey how I want it. The fonts don't have examples, and how do they tell what you want from just writing the name of the logo you want? Please help.
  12. I still use an Ambassadeur 5000 for crankbaits.
  13. Great looking baits! What do you call that fluke color?
  14. I see on ebay that they have spool bearings for sale for like 3 bucks. (I believe they go under the spool tension and brake adjustment knobs) Is this the only place I can add bearings without major modifications? Also, what else adds performance and smoothness? Thanks!
  15. I might get the 7x6 inch BPS Tackle Binder, but which size do the replacement pages fit? The 8x10 or the 7x6? The website says 'FITS 7'' x 9'' BINDER'.
  16. Do you put multiple spinnerbaits in one pouch? I just thought the binder pages with dividers seemed like it would be easier to keep things organized.
  17. This looks like a good deal at 65 bucks. My local Walmart has them, and the reel seems pretty smooth. My only question was with the rod. Anyone have one of these? Are they any good?
  18. Bass Pro Shops sells a spinnerbait binder, but it isn't big enough (without extra pages) to hold all my spinnerbaits and jigs. After pages and a binder, it brings the total up to over 25 bucks just for a binder. Does anybody know of a cheaper alternative or another brand? Thanks!
  19. Walmart sells the Abu Black Max. It's a decent reel, and it now features a flipping switch. Pair it up with one of the heavy Berkley Lightning Rods they sell, and you have a decent beginner flipping setup.
  20. I'm not seeing the results to back the hype of the Red Eye Shad. Works about like any other lipless crankbait.
  21. I understand that the Pro Qualifier (at least this model) probably won't be made anymore 5 years from now. I probably will sell this one and get a better one by then. I just need a good reel to last me 2 or 3 years of fishing. It seemed like one of the only reels at this range that featured an aluminum frame. All others are carbon or polymer. Not the best material for a reel. Also, the Pflueger President, along with the Mitchell 300XGe, aren't aluminum, but would they be as good, or even better?
  22. I've been eying a new spinning reel, as mine crapped out the other day. Is the new Pro Qualifier any good? It seems so, from the description. Aluminum frame and eight bearings. Also, to save a little money, how's the Extreme? It also sports an aluminum frame. Any other suggestions in this price range would be appreciated also. Thanks.
  23. Okay, thanks. You answered my question beautifully. ;D
  24. How many of you listen to them? I like BassFeed and Bass Edge's The Edge.
