  1. I really can't compete :-[, but I caught about a 12 inch channel cat on a crawfish color Rebel Deep Wee-r.
  2. Murky water when perch or sunfish is the main food supply.
  3. White suckers at the river in Mt. Ida. Funnest fishing you'll ever experience. ;D
  4. What about those racks you mount on your wall? Couldn't you attach them to the ceiling with velcro or something?
  5. Thanks a lot! I'll have to buy a few.
  6. Drop shot or Shaky Head.
  7. Anyone use a Rapala Husky Jerk for bass? I know it's mostly for northern fish, but it seems like it would be a pretty good jerkbait.
  8. Never knew that. Great post!
  9. Catfishin', Bream fishin', and Suckerfishin' are all awesome. Most of the time when I'm not just bassin', I'll fish for all things at once with a nightcrawler carolina rigged. ;D
  10. NBYGT, that's a good idea. Never thought about that. It might just become my secret weapon that I invented :. jk. lol. ;D
  11. I don't know about fish, but at one particular dirty pond, I was fishing with a camouflage 5" Storm Rattle Tube. I was hopping over some matted grass, and a snake bit it. About made my crap myself.
  12. Thanks. I knew you'd answer! ;D
  13. Does Yo-Zuri Hybrid float on top like mono? Also, is it as invisible?
  14. Gar are probably the most nasty smelling fish around. They are fun to catch though. ;D
  15. They feed on dying baitfish on top. That's probably why you've caught them on a topwater. They won't bite you. One trick to do with a needlenose though, is to put a stick between its jaws vertically, holding its mouth open. It will then jump frantically out of the water multiple times trying to get it out. Pretty cool. btw... They have so many bones, you can't really eat them, plus they're nasty.
  16. Did you hear it drumming? Kinda creepy and cool at the same time.
  17. They are extremely scary at night. I was in a boat while jughooking, and went to get a jug. My grandaddy pulled it halfway out of the water, and BOOM! This huge gar jumps out of the water . I nearly jumped in at 2:00 in the morning ;D. It turned out to be 52 inches long. HUGE for a needlenose.
  18. The old 33's (none made recently) are some of the best reels I have ever used . My grandpa and I use them religiously for a variety of species. I have sort of gone away from them recently, because I started focusing on bass more , but they are a GREAT reel. ;D
  19. Anyone tried the BPS Tournament LTD? It looks pretty nice with the 10 bearings, and $39.99 price ;D. Is it worth it?
  20. They are not FLW, but I have some Mann's Jellyworm Augertail worms. They are shaped like this:
  21. Which is better: Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's? Personally, I like the selection from Bass Pro better, buy what do y'all think?
  22. Thanks. What is the best way to rig them?
  23. What is the difference in a Zoom Trick Worm and a Zoom Finesse Worm?
  24. Thanks! @ Jake.: I thought the logical name would be "flipshaking" because you could use it as a flipping method for senkos and finesse worms on a shaky head jig. What kind of jighead do you find works best?
  25. Recently, I was watching the BASS tour on ESPN, and one of the commercials was Ike talking about rigging a Senko wacky style on a roundhead tungsten jig, calling it "Flipshaking." Have any of you heard of or used this rig? :-? btw...Ike said it was the hottest technique on the tour. Why haven't I been seeing KVD or Rick Clunn use it then?
