Would it be worthwhile to purchase this broken G Loomis broken rod?
I would not do it! K-DOGG! >

Split grip or Standard? Why?
I prefer the standard grip on the G.Loomis GLX's or on the Dobyns rods because I have big hands and I can cast with more comfort with a full grip. However, when finesse fishing like dropshotting, darterheads or footballheads, I use the split grips like on the Shimano Cumara because I am looking for more feel and sensitivity than casting distance. This is just my take! Tight lines, K-DOGG! ;D

BPS 7'10" Crankin' Stick.
I would say deep cranking like DD22's, DT 16's and smaller swimbaits like Osprey Dinks, basstrix, and Mattlures. I have the 7'6 model and it is a very nice rod for the price! I paid $29.00 for mine!

If you could only have 5 rods rigged on a boat . . .
1. G. Loomis GLX 894 7'5 Rod for flipping jigs and soft plastics. 2. Dobyns 734 7'3 Rod for Chatterbaits, Topwater and spinnerbaits. 3. Shimano Cumara 7'2 MH Rod for finesee soft plastics/dropshotting. 4. Fenwick Crankshaft 7'3 Cranking stick for crankbaiting. 5. Dobyns 735 7'3 Rod for Buzzbaits, Small Swimbaits & Wakebaits.

Favorite Rod
G. Loomis and Dobyns!

baitcaster for crankbaits
For a crankbait that is 1/2 ounce or less, the Daiwa Sol is a much better option than the Fuego. The Sol is the perfect shallow crankbait reel in my opinion. ;D

what brand flouro
I say Sunline or Seaguar Invizx! ;D

Deep Crankin Rod Length
I have the 7'3 Fenwick Crankshaft Rod and it is half glass and half graphite. It is a great rod for shallow and medium running crankbaits. Check them out! ;D
