Old people...
Next time you see his vehicle parked at the lake just give him a free slightly opened bottle of JJ's magic (clear) into his open window. That or some dog dropping smeared up under the driver's handle door. Or some zip ties around his driveshaft. When he drives, he'll hear a clicking noise. He stops to investigate, the noise goes away. May take him awhile to figure it out.

Zoom U-Tail Worms?
I actually fish the too much. Goal is to try more baits this year instead of 'old reliable'. Red shad kills for me.

"The Man" is looking up for terrorists in all the wrong places...
It's all good. I wasn't offended the least bit. If you research my posts (Man, I hope you got something better to do !) you'll see I've taken quite a few shots at Jersey myself. I rafted the New and Gauley Rivers in WV. Absolutely some of the most stunning country I've seen. Great people, ate like a king, killer smallie fishing, what more could you want ? That's my point, bilge. It's a fishing forum and we're here to blow off steam and yuck it up. Not the place to be if you have thin skin. In any case, he shouldn't go gettin mad at people if he's doing the same thing. 8-)

Lighten up man. I did come back and say I know good things come from W.V. as my wife was born there. : Sorry if it rubbed you wrong. Speaking of State hate talking. Remember this post of yours about Jersey in the "something about the poster above you thread"? Practice what you preach......

World record bass a phony.....
Just to be clear, I'm not against Sight fishing. I was just pointing out that the guy decided to set the hook without feeling or seeing the fish bite. Sounds kind of deliberate now after what WRB said about those guys.

Do you own a boat?
X2 Great for toolin' around on little lakes/ponds. I can muscle it in and out of the bed of the pickup.

Roger that. Wouldn't that be something for the Justice System to give ALL victim's families of ALL crimes a little time with the perps. By the way Jimzee, my wife was born in W.V. so I know there are good things that come from there.

World record bass a phony.....
Dottie WAS the New World Record that didn't get caught BY THE RULES. I watched the special on t.v. with the guys who kept trying to catch Dottie after they caught her the first time. He said something along the lines of 'I couldn't tell for sure that she went after it (the bait) so I just set the hook' thus resulting in the foul hook. Sightfishing, blindly setting the hook doesn't give him the record IMO. I give him props for telling the truth but he didn't earn the record. Despite all the drama, Perry has the record. Period.

"The Man" is looking up for terrorists in all the wrong places...
Story stated they were actually FBI employees in an FBI satellite control room. They just flushed their careers down the commode. If this is happening in West Virginia, what kind of stuff are they getting into in bigger cities? Need to reel these agencies back in a tad. Little or no oversight (other than oversighting in dressing rooms) = bad news.

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D97MF9I00&show_article=1 Two Feebies perving high school girls trying on prom dresses in West Virginia mall. Don't know what's more surprising; these guys risking a good job for that or the fact that West Virginia has High Schools. :-?

Fishing Vocabulary
x2 Dooshes: Legal guardians (REFUSE to call them parents >) that will let their children run wild, screaming and throwing rocks, sticks in the water several feet away from someone trying to fish. Perfection: Any cast you make that couldn't have been set there better AND catching a fish on it. Murphy's Perfection: Any cast you make that couldn't have been set there better that results in an IMMEDIATE snag. Aya-toll-a aya-hole-a: Guy that decides to run his leaf blower, brush trimmer or chainsaw only when he sees someone pull their boat up anywhere near his bank. Doghouse phone call: Sometimes the planets align and you're tearing up the fish. Good size and good numbers only to be broken up by a call by either The Boss or The REAL Boss (wife) wondering if you can handle something that for them is an emergency and for you it ranks up there with watching paint dry. If you don't leave the lake to go handle it you'll be sharing a bed with Rover for at least two weeks.

I found out the wrong way..
Had a nice 6lber (calibrated eye when it jumped) on last year on a brand new rod & reel. It started peeling off line and before I could adjust the drag, it wrapped itself around a post. Lost that fish because I didn't check my equipment before I started fishing.

World record bass a phony.....
Catt, I've taken stuff to a notary several times (to one I know and a couple I don't) and they've notarized stuff where the document was supposed to be signed by the other party in their prescence but wasn't. Notaries are humans and like most of us, are trusting and/or take the path of least resistance. I'm not saying the notary lied for Perry but rather that it's possible that the notary just 'rubber stamped' it. Not probable but possible. Since it was the 30's it adds credence to both sides of the argument. Back then who really cared if some guy holds the record for this type of fish? People were worried about just surviving let alone whether this fish weighed 17 lbs or 22 lbs. On the other hand, since fishing wasn't so popular back then how many toads were caught that people didn't even think 'this could be a record fish!'. One thing about Hannon; who can doubt the man has caught some HUGE fish and knows something on the subject of toads? He's done so much underwater study on them that you'd think by now he'd have video of numerous fish that would break the record. I don't think he's proceeding from a position of jealousy but merely stating through his experience the record fish coming from Georgia is most likely false. The record fish is out there and will be taken from Cali. or Texas.

World record bass a phony.....
Personally I can't believe Perry didn't take it to the nearest Bass Pro Shops to try to make some real money on it. Obviously a hoax. :

World record bass a phony.....
I kind of doubt Perry's fish due to the lack of pics but until officials say he doesn't have the record, he has the record. I do believe there's a World Record out there somewhere at some time of the year. Just because it (or something so close to it) hasn't been caught, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If it gets that big it's smart enough to stay away from us.
