Pq Thumb Bar Wont Press Down
Are you positive that it is in the up position now?

Senkos
I sometimes throw them with the GLX casting version of the same rod so the answer is yes.

Spinnerbait & Topwater Rod
If you like a shorter rod, 6', that can do everything that you want to do, a Loomis CR723 GLX or IMX is perfect. It's a MH/F with a 1/4 to 3/4 rating. I throw 3/4oz Spooks, Sammy's spinnerbaits etc on mine. Distance is not a problem with the 6' length either.

What Retrieve For Jig Heads And Soft Plastics?
Most will say the faster the better but the 6.3:1 is fine and would be more versatile down the road IMHO.

Earth Day
FNC freely admits that they have an agenda. The agenda is to tell you both sides and to cover the stories that the lefties don't/won't cover. LE, if you haven't noticed, FNC is stomping the crap out of your lefty news outlets in the ratings! For cryin out loud, NBC just hired a freaking Psychiatrist to find out why David Gregory's ratings suck on Meet The Press! LMFAO

Bait Caster ?
I don't think removing a backlash with braid is any harder but if you do backlash, do not pull hard on the braid and when you put it on your reel, put it on as tight as you can get it.

Jdm Tatula?
I was going to recommend Japan Lure Shop because there price is around $183.00 plus around $14.00 shipping. They only take PayPal and then you have the PayPal fee. I have bought 2 reels from these guys and I was happy. They saved me over $60.00 on a Calcutta 100 versus what Japan Tackle charges and if any of you guys want a NIB old model Conquest 100, they have them for under $300.00 on their Sales and Specials page.

Jdm Tatula?

And what are you going to say when next year, or two or three years down the road, when they have normal or cooler than normal temps at the Australian Open?

Whoa Now! Big Guns
I think that I would rather have the 6.8SPC over the 7.62X51.

Whoa Now! Big Guns
I think that our Ranger Battalions have been using this for years. Bout time the regular Army got the much needed hardware!

Bearing Shields
Unless you have an attachment on your compressor that filters out moisture and debris, I would not use an air hose. I would use the little cans of compressed air that are used for cleaning keyboards instead.

Rods Without Hook Keepers
This is a great idea. I think that I may even have some at my shop somewhere. Thank you for the offer! I ordered a pack of the Norman Hook Keepers from TW yesterday and if they don't work out, I will use the cable ties.

Rods Without Hook Keepers
I have seen the Norman Hookkeepers on TW. They are cheap enough at $2.99 for a 4 pack. I am leaning towards the Normans. Thanks

Does it move around or otherwise get in the way?

Rods Without Hook Keepers
That is the Fuji Hook Keeper that I do not want. The reason that I say I don't want it is because it looks like it might over a period of time, cause some marring on the blank where it pivots. I thought that the FHK were metal. The plastic would be better than metal on the blank. Any problems scratching up your rod?

Rods Without Hook Keepers
Are there any other hook keepers available besides the Fuji hook keepers? I don't want to have a hook keeper put on for fear of someone screwing up my rods and the last alternative is hooking the lure on top of the reel or the guides.
