  1. So where's the picture of the crappie that's over 20"? Hard to believe without a picture with a tape measure.
  2. I bought the OO Black Iridium lenses in the Scalpel model and I REALLY like them. Check'em out!!
  3. I bought the magnum Cabelas Advanced Angler Pro Series Tackle Bag a few weeks ago. I looked around for a while checking out the different bags and this one seemed like the best option. It's put together well and looks like it will last a long time. I like that it has hard bottom on it. The only downside is that there is so much room and I don't have enough tackle to fill it, well I guess that's a reason to go do some more shopping!! And another plus was that it was 25% off at the store!! I paid $60 with all the boxes. I also bought two smaller plano boxes to go on the sides. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
  4. Last Tuesday the water temp near the 400 club was 61-62 and the water was clear at 8'. But from what I've heard the water is really muddy and water temp has dropped to 50!!! It's hard to believe how much it can change in a week. Here's some from last week. My PB 3lb 8oz... My friend's 5lb 11oz... And his 4lb 14oz... He has been taking annual trips there but it was my first time. Now he has to take TWO annual trips!! 8-)
  5. Well the weather was finally decent for Get_the_Net and I to get out to chase some smallies. The evening started out slow but turned out to be a great night to be out! We boated 14 smallies tonight with my personal best of 3lbs 5oz. My personal best on the left. Get_the_Net with a nice smallie. And one with a black mark on it's tail.
  6. Check your messages bassman!
  7. Lovin' those PIG smallies!!
  8. Looks like you guys had a great day on the lake!
  9. i agree...it doesnt look like he made any effort to match the natural look of the fish..just looks like he painted it from a picture out of a mag or somthing...kinda fake looking...nice fish though...my guess would be 6 -7 lb I totally agree! It doesn't even look like the same bass. I wouldn't have paid for it if it were me. It supposed to look like the same fish and it doesn't........sorry!!
  10. I'm looking for a bass fishing club near the Syracuse area. I would be a non-boater this year. Please help!
  11. I've never seen a wacky rig look like this..............I'm a newbie. Why doens't this look right? I thought you just hook it through the middle of the worm. LikeI said, I'm a newbie to all these different styles of fishing.
  12. 4" Senko or Zoom Finesse worm both wacky rigged. I caught my personal best largemouth the other night on a 4" watermelon Senko. It weighed 4lbs 7oz and was 20 1/4" long.
  13. Thanks for the info Sam! One of my main concerns is how they handle in rough water. The lake that I would be fishing most gets pretty rough during the summer due to all the lakers that live on it with their toys.
  14. Does anyone have one? Pro's or con's? Thanks!
  15. Thanks for the info! Keep it coming! It's either this boat or a Triton Explorer 18. I can't decide. :-/
  16. I was wondering if anyone else has this boat? Or any opinions about it? I was looking at getting this as my first bass boat but was looking for pros and cons before I make the decision to purchase. Any feedback would be appreciated.
