If it's a wet cell it will lose it's charge over a short period of time when I was using them I would remove the batteries from the boat over winter and top off the charge every two months or so you can use a trickle charge battery charger that monitors the charge status and charges as needed. I'm now using dry cell Deep Cycle batteries which will hold it's full charge for up to one year. I would do a full charge now if the battery charge gets to low the battery will freeze and will be kaput. Tight Lines Pa Angler

I use a ball bearing coastlock snap swivel on all hardbaits as I only use spinning gear and it hepls with reducing line twist my Co-Angler doesn't but there hasn't been a huge difference in the fish we both catch other than he at times catches more but I'll catch bigger so I guess it's 6 of one and half dozen of another.
