  1. It's my understanding that although they can be used interchangeably, the swinging head is designed to slow roll across the bottom with a high-action plastic. While a rugbyhead is used like a traditional shakey or football head, dragged or hopped. To me, it's two different techniques. I don't see a disadvantage to using one or the other exclusively, but why not employ both?

  5. It's pronouned tear-ex. I have the 6'6" medium jerkbait/topwater, 7' MH frog rod, and 7'3" MH football jig/swim bait. They're all very nice!
  6. I love in SE Pa. Had a great season. Won some tournies, Improved my game, made the right decisions when I had to. Looking forward to this next year!
  7. I do t own one of them, but I do have three Terex rods. I love them! They're the quality I would expect from Duckett. Larger guides, too!
  8. Lock four of the centrifugal brakes in, leaving two loose. Those two should be opposites. Keep my mag brake on about 5/6, unless I'm tossing light lures, then 3-4. Spool tension just tight enough to when the lure hits the ground, you get a loop or two of loose line on your spool.
  9. I just got a 6'6" M Duckett Terex baitcasting rod. All I can say is "wow"! So light, soft tip, good backbone. Exactly what I wanted!

  15. I fish Nock often, and I do target the deeper fish cribs. I catch good quality bass off of them. Not a lot of electronic-savvy guys on that lake.

  17. That's more of a flipping stick. If you want more of an open water jig rod, I suggest there 7'3" MH Micro Magic pro.
  18. I just discovered this unit. It looks like the best value in electronics for the small waters I fish. I'm just looking for opinions from anyone that owns them or knows what theyre talking about (Wayne P.!!!!).
  19. Just trying to learn a new technique. What are the ideal conditions/time of year? What about your gear loadout? Im particularly interested in learning about the Cotton Cordell Red Fin or Ripplin Red Fin.
  20. So tune them! Lesson #1, you usually get what you pay for. #2 I've had to tube lucky crafts and other expensive cranks. It's just part of the game.

  22. I've been shopping around lately and someone told me that I should look into buying a repossessed boat and/or truck. Has anyone ever done such a thing? How does this process work? Pros and cons? Just looking for some experience. Thanks!
