Lake Erie is the warmest great lake and that pretty much has a lot to do with it. The other lakes are still too cold to have Smallies the same size as Erie.

That's my secret bait! I've caught so many fish on that. Pike, Muskie, Bass and Crappie. It's a good one.

I'm thinking any deep diving crankbait with a bluegill color imitation should suffice.

We've caught fish using them. There are a fun bait to use but I haven't used them for 2 years. No apparent reason just haven't.

Is it possible to fish for peacock from shore? I will be in Miami on May 16th and wanted to try my luck catching one. I have no problem getting a guide but the problem is I won't be to Miami until 12:30PM. If it's possible where can I fish from shore?

Do any of you use tubes and fish them on a t-rig similar to how you would a worm? I know most people use it for flipping and under docks just wondering if it can be used just casting with success.

They used two of them. The 3x finesse and also the Strike King Zero in 5" which is a stick bait similar to the senko.

So then I should be ok using the spot removers over any other shakey head jig? I too was looking to purchase shakey head jigs.
