    It's called a Neko rig
  3. If you are bouncing it off rocks having the nose scratched up is normal. It happens to all my lipless cranks.
  4. The pepper ultimate jigs are my favorite.
  5. Nice work! I will be installing the HDS system on my boat next week. I can't wait.
  6. The weights without inserts are also more sensitive. At least to me they are.
  7. I just heard they are trying to kill the largemouth bass in Cyprus due to one of the Cypriot snakes being endangered. Will this affect the fishing everywhere in the country? Yiasas.
  8. Excellent advice.
  9. I had a bandit 200 that had mustad triple grips on. I caught a few fish on that crankbait and that's why I was looking to use them on other cranks.
  10. I don't think salmon can reproduce in the great lakes so being sterilized should not be an issue. Most of them our stocked by the states.
  11. That 10hp restriction is definitely annoying.

You have to admit that they look more realistic than a super fluke.
  13. You can never go wrong with white anywhere.
  14. Chicago here. I'm really hoping to get a boat this year but it seems there isn't many lakes that you can fish 100hp and up boats in. Any lakes you guys know of in the Chicagoland area? All the ones I know about are in WI and the chain in Antioch.
  15. Netbait is an underrated company.
  16. I don't fish the great lakes enough to say one way or another. When I recently was fishing St Clair I caught quite a few small smallmouth bass so to me it seemed unaffected by the gobies. Granted, I only fished it once so that's about a small sample size as it gets. Right now I believe the states do not stock the great lakes with smallies as they do with walleyes, trout, and salmon. If the smallmouht fishing gets back it might be time for the states to start stocking smallies as well.

  18. I'm pretty sure Tomato Shad is the color that Aaron Martens used to win Guntersville this past year, so I'd say yes it should work out there
  19. So received the package of trebles and they seem to be light wire hooks and very sharp. They are definitely quality. The one knock on them is the ones I purchased seem to have a very long shank compared to the stinger hooks. Next time around I will have to make sure I get the short shank ones. The new KVD Elite short shank trebles look to fit the bill perfectly.
  20. Usually Shad(White) color and black for muddy water.
  21. Interesting. Well for $5 for a pack of them I will give them a try. I will post my results later in the year when I'm able to fish again.
  22. What are your thoughts on the Mustad triple grip trebles? Do they compare favorably to the Owner stinger st-36 or the Gamaktsu trebles? The trebles have an interesting shape to them. Does this shape make them work better by weed growth as opposed to the standard trebles?
