Wow, talk about drama laced with rumors! Geeze. To set the record straight: First off, as I've said over and over again - it never had or has anything to do with sponsors - ever. I've made that extremely clear over the years. Anything to the contrary is simply false. Period. 2nd - it has everything to do with spam. Some sites have come here with the sole purpose of filling up these forums with spam - to the point we finally had to block them. That said, there are a few that specifically requested to be removed from this site permanently, so I obliged to their wishes. 3rd - if you mention their name in a post, and see "***", let it go; that's one of them (as explained in the FAQ's). Repeated and egregious attempts to thwart that will result in a friendly reminder to refrain. Why? Because many of them have and still do come back and try to pimp themselves here. If you want spam-filled forums, then go find them. There's plenty.
