  5. Yes, he was there. I saw him multiple times, usually when I was running from one appointment to the next!
  6. In case you haven't seen it...
  7. Yup, it works. Check out the 3-pounder I caught while filming the Ned rig... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/ned-rig.html
  8. You said to yourself, "I did NOT need to see that!" (keep it clean folks!)
  9. I suggest breaking those into 11 different threads, as there's a ton of responses you're going to get, all in random order and therefore, hard-to-follow.
  10. Here's a different way to use a dropshot rig....the Bubba Shot! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/advanced-drop-shot.html
  11. Yes, I always peg my weight. If I want the bait to float freely behind the weight, then I just peg it further up the line.
  12. The Mojo Rig is a great finesse technique that will catch finicky fish. Also known as the Split Shot Rig. Here's how to fish it! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/splitshot-mojo-rigs.html
  13. So I sense tangent airlines is preparing for takeoff here. This isn't a braid vs. fluoro discussion. Let's keep it on topic please.
  14. I wouldn't say braid "floats" in the sense it will rise to the surface and stay there. However it is more bouyant than fluoro or copolymer lines, meaning it is more resistant to sinking (e.g. slower sink rate). There are benefits and downfalls to this. But just like any other tool in your tacklebox, the more you understand the characteristics of it, the better prepared you'll be to achieve your desired results.
  15. The Texas rig is one of the most versatile rigs for bass fishing. This how-to video explains in detail how to fish Texas rigged plastic baits to catch more fish. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/texas-rig-how-tips.html
  16. It's a full broadcast production professional camera. Not a pro-sumer, Gopro, DSLR, or any other consumer video camera. I have several decades of broadcast production experience under my belt. I don't mess with consumer products except for select B-Roll footage. You're probably comparing our footage with that of many of the bloggers that were there, shooting with their cell phones and GoPros.
  17. It's been nothing but sunny and warm/hot in my neck of the woods. Nary a drop of rain in months. We're experiencing the first drought in decades. High temp/low rain records have been smashed many times over this year so far, and we're headed into the warmest/driest part of the year. Suffice to say, the fire danger is way off the charts.
  18. Learn how to fish the dropshot rig with this video. Here's everything you need to know to start catching fish on a dropshot rig! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/how-to-dropshot-fishing.html
