  7. Yes. I have one, and have used it several times. Works great!
  8. 90's this week, 110+ on the weekend. We've had 7 days of rain since May 1st - a new record low rainfall. Funny, because last year it wouldn't stop raining, and we broke all rainfall records. This year is just the opposite.
  9. Long-time forum member and bass pro Scott Martin has made another video for us. This time it's all about fishing the shaky head. Great tips in this video! Check it out: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/shaky-head-tips.html
  10. It's like asking, "Which is better, a hammer or a screwdriver?" You need to learn and use both.
  11. This is a perfect example of moderators attempting to keep a thread civil, yet it continues to go downhill. We tried to keep this open by sending out little warnings (and deleting several comments that crossed the line), but y'all just couldn't resist the urge to fight anyway. I don't want to hear anyone complain about locked threads again. We only lock them when y'all force us to.
  12. Oh man! Maybe it's because I know most of these guys well, but my gut hurt from laughing so hard! https://youtu.be/HS6f890sJCQ
  13. I generally do not run WOT unless it's a tournament start and I know "my" is popular. Usually I beat the competition due to driving skills, not a fast boat (that's another subject). But otherwise, I run about 55-60mph, or about 5200-5400 rpms on my 225. My mechanic always tells me I need to run WOT more often because I tend to get more carbon build up on the plugs than normal. But to me, changing the plugs is a better alternative than an accident at 70mph. That, plus it's a rougher ride at WOT. Here's information about props and rpms... http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/props.html
  14. That's a heck of a good idea!
  15. Forum member and Bass Pro Scott Martin gives you his tips on summer bass fishing in this new video! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/summer-fishing-tips.html
  16. I disagree with the comment suggesting nothing has better quality than the GoPro. The Garmin Virb VIRB X and VIRB XE shoots high definition footage at 1080p/60fps, 12 megapixel photos at up to 30fps, and has built in GPS that allows you to track and overlay how fast, how far, how high, and how intense the moment truly was. And, VIRB X and VIRB XE are able to dive to 50 meters without a case, allowing you to capture cleaner and clearer video and audio. No need to buy expensive accessories to get those underwater shots. The Virb Elite can do 1080p 120fps! This is exclusively for capturing slow-motion footage.
  17. If you hold a 2-pounder close to a GoPro, then it looks like an 8-pounder. Look no further than on some of the more popular YouTube bass channels to see what I mean. It's ridiculous. LOL! Guys, nobody can really tell how big a fish is just by a picture, no matter how close or far it is from the camera, no matter the camera angle, no matter what kind of camera. Don't believe me? I have proof. The "Guess the weight" contests receive thousands of guesses, over 10,000 each. But every time...EVERY time, less than 100 people get it right. Yup, less than 1%!! I'll be posting a thorough article with facts and figures in the future on this, but wanted to lend a little insight here.
