  11. ^^ This ^^ When WDFW kills off bass, they kill off the whole lake, then restock with trout. Removing them by hand is not effective. What you experienced is the poor fishing seen across the state due to the extended heat wave. Most lakes on the west side are experiencing tough fishing right now. This year, they removed all restrictions and regulations on bass, walleye, and catfish on the Columbia river, essentially declaring open season on those species. Oregon is now moving forward with implementing the same thing. As much as WDFW has a "kill, kill, kill" mentality towards warmwater species though, oddly enough, after killing off Sprague lake in Eastern WA, they restocked with bass as well as trout! Big shock to me, as I didn't think they even had a warmwater hatchery.
  12. The screws that hold the switch in place may have backed out a little. Tighten them up and see if that fixes it. If it does, put a dab of glue on the threads and reinstall. Should do the trick.
  13. AdamsEye - Some of the barbs and condescending remarks and asides are not necessary, nor part of the spirit of what makes these forums so great. Not only that, but it makes it much more difficult for people to see your point when they're getting insulted. I've edited some of your remarks to help you out.

Honestly, there's no need for Torzite guides for bass fishing. Salt water fishing using massive braided line (essentially cable) for 50+lb fish? Yep. But they're overkill for bass fishing. It's akin to using a semi to pull your bass boat.
  16. Check out this video! https://youtu.be/7N1HUbusarY btw - no trick photography involved here. They did 30 takes, and only once did he slip up.
  17. No booth. I'm media, so I'll be wandering around.

  19. Congratulations on a monster catch! That must have been a heck of a fight! I bet he lost his breath when he saw that giant near the surface for the first time! I knees probably would've given out. I hope someday soon to experience the thrill of catching a double-digit bass!
  20. Awesome! Can't wait to see you guys again! btw - you cannot buy anything there. Sales are prohibited. This is not a sportsman's show. It's an industry trade show. The public is not invited, in fact.
  21. Here's how to fish football jigs from Scott Martin! You'll catch big ones on this technique when you use his tips and tricks. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/football-jigs.html
  22. Walla Walla is pretty far SE in WA. I'm in Western WA, but fish in Eastern WA often (tri-cities, Potholes, Banks, etc).
  23. I use a Garmin Virb. It films for 6 hours on a single charge.
