They will break after awhile. It's the price of doing business. Most spinnerbaits cost about the same as a bag of plastic baits, and re-stocking plastic baits is considered normal. It's no different with spinnerbaits. The ones that won't break, don't have enough vibration, IMO.

Sharpen your hooks. They get dull from hitting rocks, stumps, catching fish, etc.

When fish are doing that and changing your presentation doesn't do the trick, change lure size and/or colors. They're telling you it's almost right, but not quite. So a simple change like that usually does the trick!

I tried it for a year, and loved how easily it cast, and how quiet it was as it went through the rod guides. However the abrasion resistance was abysmal. Never have I had to retie as mush as I did with that line. It seemed it frayed on virtually everything. I finally gave up on it.
