  1. Signatures are a gray area, to be sure. But I generally allow people to list their sponsors and/or brand affinities so long as it's not a blatant ad, contains promotional images/content, or contains links. Also note that if you own/run a website, then there's a place in your profile where you can add that information, but please don't place them in your sig. More details can be found in the FAQs. Hope that helps!
  2. Ok folks, you heard the man. The promo is going to last just a few hours!

  6. They will break after awhile. It's the price of doing business. Most spinnerbaits cost about the same as a bag of plastic baits, and re-stocking plastic baits is considered normal. It's no different with spinnerbaits. The ones that won't break, don't have enough vibration, IMO.
  7. Shaw Grigsby talk about buffs, sunscreen and more in this video: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/Shaw-Grigsby-Fishing-4.html

  9. Yup, they do...or at least try. They are designed by nature to eat every day. Available forage is the gatekeeper, not appetite or metabolism. Watch this video for more detailed information. It explains why giant bass grow to trophy size. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/bass-fishing-fish-biology.html

Let's just answer the annual question now: No, it's not open to the public. It's an industry trade show. You have be part of the industry or in the media with credentials to gain access.
  11. There's lot's and LOT'S of threads on this forum about the knockoffs and how they compare to the original. Start here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/12401-senko-faq-%C2%A0look-here-first/ and have fun!
  12. Sharpen your hooks. They get dull from hitting rocks, stumps, catching fish, etc.
  13. When fish are doing that and changing your presentation doesn't do the trick, change lure size and/or colors. They're telling you it's almost right, but not quite. So a simple change like that usually does the trick!
  14. Here's a couple of videos and articles to help you out: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/how-to-cast-baitcast.html http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/adjust-baitcasting-baitcaster.html http://www.bassresource.com/beginner/how-to-use-baitcaster.html
  15. I tried it for a year, and loved how easily it cast, and how quiet it was as it went through the rod guides. However the abrasion resistance was abysmal. Never have I had to retie as mush as I did with that line. It seemed it frayed on virtually everything. I finally gave up on it.
