  13. I saw your post exactly as you stated. Nothing wrong with that. I think most anglers give that tactic a try (sticking to one lure for awhile) - including myself. I think most of us learn that you don't catch much when you do that - hence the comments. Sounds like some folks were just trying to warn you, that's all.
  14. wunderground.com It's often different from weather.com, so I get a better picture of what the weather might do.
  15. Oh bother - this stupid myth continues to circulate through the web. It's absolutely false! I've seen them shoot these shows, and trust me, nobody is manually hooking fish and putting them in the water. You gotta be pretty darn gullible to believe this lie!
  16. You guys have to read the new article from Don Barone! http://www.bassresource.com/fish-fishing/don-barone-diet.html
  17. It's for spinning reels only. Otherwise it will dig into your reel and cause a mess. Use a Palomar or Uni-knot with it. Anything else could slip. Back off a bit on your drag. It's just like braid - zero stretch. Use a Fluorocarbon leader in extremely clear water. Hope that helps!
  18. Ya, he was a little excited. The whole rod and reel combo comes in at about 9oz. That's just stoopid light!
  19. LOL! Then I think you might like this video: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/villian-revo-video.html

  21. Ya, because we've seen the thong picture .... and trust me.... you can never erase that in your brain!
  22. You already have a thread on this here:
  23. The difference is in the tail and appendages. They have far, far more action than any other soft plastic bait line on the market.
  24. 3dees - actually it's a lower price than before. Previously the price was for just the pole. The pump, wiring, switches, etc had to bought separately. Now it's an all-inclusive package. Together, it's a few hundred bucks less than before.
  25. 2 things: In the sand dunes, watch your depth finder. You'll find brush and stickups under the water near the shore line. Fish them! If you venture into Linde Coulee, don't go any further back than the island from now through the fall. It gets very shallow really quick, and you could end up damaging your boat if you go ripping through there on plane. When the water is up, it's a different story. But for now, you shouldn't go past the island.
