You're Invited to the 5th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
November is the slowest traffic month of the year for the site. It's been that way that for over a dozen years. So I wouldn't expect much of a response right now.

Hitting Banks Lake this weekend
Wow, that's a tough one. I've never fished it this late, so I'm not the one to give advice. I'm not sure who has either. That said, I'd stay close to the areas above Steamboat, as the wind can get pretty nasty with all these fronts blowing in. There was a big tournament there 2 weeks ago, and it took nearly 30lbs to win it (2 day tourney) - that's HUGE for that lake. I don't know what the winning pattern was, however. Sorry I'm not much help. Good luck and stay safe!

The CMA
I really like the new stuff (sans Taylor Swift). The old stuff? Not so much, despite growing up on it.

Bankruptcy sale; Ranger, Champion & Stratos
Looks like Jacobs wants to own the whole shebang: "Jacobs has said he plans to be the highest bidder for Genmar's assets." http://www.tradeonlytoday.com/home/500824-jacobs-resigns-as-genmar-ceo

Jacobs Out at Genmar
Umm....despite how scandelous another site would have you believe, Irwin resigned in order to avoid a conflict of interest as he persues a buyout of the company. "Jacobs has said he plans to be the highest bidder for Genmar's assets." http://www.tradeonlytoday.com/home/500824-jacobs-resigns-as-genmar-ceo Funny how a gossip site spins it. ;D

Tubes or worms- How do you decide?
Since I target smallies a lot, my first choice is always a tube. But I've found that pitching 4" tubes in heavy cover can net some surprisingly good-sized largemouths. I fish tubes on jigheads, dropshot, splitshot, Texas rigged, Carolina rigged.....well, you get the idea. Anyway you can fish a worm, you can with a tube.

Wreckage!
Wow! That sucks, man. But I'm glad you're ok (I presume you are). Trucks - although we love 'em - are replaceable. Glad to see you back on the forums too!

Feedback needed
Hey fish-fighting-illini, I just read through your entire first post. Here's my feedback: I think initially you should have contacted them first, before posting any comments. Give the company a chance to make it up to you before posting a negative review. That said, your initial review should have been neutral. Fast service + good price + no hassles - but bad packaging = neutral IMHO. I admit their response could have been handled better, but they were feeling very defensive, as your review was the first time they ever heard of your issue. I can understand their reaction, but probably should have calmed down first before responding to you. I suspect if they had, you would have received a more cordial response. Not giving them excuses, or trying to defend them. Just trying to see it from another perspective.
