  1. Well folks, everyone is human and we all make mistakes. Whatever was going to be said has been said on both sides, so it's time to say g'night Irene.
  2. I think Tin touches on something here. Often we don't hear about all the stuff that happened prior to something like this. We only hear the very last part of the story. So that incident, all by itself, does indeed sound overboard. However, if you discovered this was a problem child with discipline issues, and heard of all the problems they've had with him before (plus all the efforts they put forth to work with him and the parents), then you might think what they did was extremely lenient. It's all a matter of context.
  3. Click the "search" link on the tab above instead of using the search box. You'll get better results when you select a time span longer than a week.
  4. Congratulations!!! That's awesome!
  5. You can revert back to IE7. The instructions are on their website. I did it. It's simple and easy to do.
  6. We'll be at the Friday night banquet. Maybe we'll see you there.

Vikings have an awesome defense. They're looking like playoff contenders.
  8. Great game. Broncos brought their "A" game, and it showed.
  9. Guys, fish kills should NOT be an issue at any tournament, period. Proper care of your fish is all it takes, but many anglers either don't know how to do it, or won't. Here's a video that explains everything you need to do (and how) in order to keep your fish healthy in your livewell despite warm temperatures.... http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/fish-care-in-the-livewell.html

  13. Beware of this one folks, it comes in your mail. Yesterday, we recieved a very official-looking letter, with all kinds of seals and stamps on it. Of course, the real kicker is the URGENT NOTICE! written in large, bold letters. Basically, the letter states that my wife is "a verified and confirmed recipient of reported cash/prize opportunities totaling over $3,276,450.00" and that it has to be claimed by midnight Oct 8th, 2009. It also states that she has to act immediately by (1) signing the Prize Report Claim and (2) sending a $20 "transfer fee" by cash, check, or money order. And the last line states "ENVELOPE MUST BE POSTMARKED BY MIDNIGHT OF DEADLINE DATE OR YOUR CLAIM WILL BE VOIDED FOR PROCESSING." Folks - you NEVER have to pay ANYTHING to claim a prize...EVER! That's the first tip off. Second tip off was you had to send it to a P.O. box in Las Vegas, even though the letterhead said, "State of Washington Commissioners of Registration". A quick search on Google not only revealed there is no such entity, but provided a ton of scam information on this company, including federal prosecution by the FTC and the Nevada attorney general. Somehow this scammer still continues to do his deed and lure in greedy, unsuspecting (and dumb) victims. So tell every idiot you know to thow the letter away if they get it in the mail. And send them this link if they don't believe you: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=prize+information+bureau+scam&aq=2&oq=prize+inform&aqi=g5g-m5
  14. A day on the water with Mike Iaconelli where he answers dozens of user-submitted questions from members of this forum. There's nothing like this video anywhere! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/mike-iaconelli-video.html
  15. See how this girl got into fishing, and how it's changed her life forever. http://www.bassresource.com/women_bassfish/women-fishing.html
  16. It's not as hard as you think. Here's how to do it: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-clubs/starting-a-youth-club.html
  17. We've lived nearby it for 3 years now, but haven't fished it yet (I know, I know). So we're not much help. But maybe we can hook you up while you're up here. I understand it has some great smallie fishing, so we plan to hit it soon. Mayfield lake also has tiger muskies, pretty big ones too. Have you thought about that lake?
  18. Use BTS on your upholstery, carpet, and cover. It prevents mold and mildew while protecting the fabric.
