  1. You're absolutely right. I asked Clunn about his use of the Tracker this year, and his response backs up your statement: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/Rick-Clunn-tin-boat.html
  2. We will be having a BassResource get together at Joe's Crabshack at the Boardwalk at 7:00. Just go there after Fridays weigh-in. We will try to get there before anyone else to get the table ready. If you don't know how to get there just go to the Bass Pro Shops and it's in the same shopping center. Black Cat - thanks for the info. Fluke and I will have to check those places out before we leave Monday.
  3. I went out with him Wednesday and posed as many questions here as I could. Sorry I didn't get the last few, but we had already come off the water by then. As far as being "hated" is concerned, that's VERY old news! He's grown up alot in recent years. Given the throng of fans asking for his picture and autograph at the launch site, it's clear most people have changed their opinion of him. Those that haven't, never will.
  4. Mike, The Internet users can be grouped into 2 broad segments: the "adopters" and the "natives". The "adopters" are people over age 30 who didn't grow up with the Internet. They use the Internet primarily to perform tasks such as reading e-mail, paying bills, or researching. When considering making a purchase, for example, they're more apt to research reviews from established sources to help guide them through their choices. The "natives", on the other hand, are under 30 years old, grew up with the Internet and other technologies such as cell phones, and use them primarily as an extension of their social lives. They use technology to keep in touch with their friends. They tend to lend more credence towards the opinions of their peers rather than established sources when making decisions. As such, group consensus has a greater influence and has a more meaningful impact to them. Hope that helps!
  5. Back at ya big guy! LOL!! ;D

Good guesses boys. Unfortunately you're right.
  7. I spent the day today rubbing elbows with the top bass pro's in our sport. It was unbelievable! Walking around amongst them and striking up a conversation at will is just too cool for words. I really wish you guys could experience it as no words can describe it. We have over 2 hours of video footage I'll be posting in the weeks to come, but for now, here's a short clip with Rick Clunn: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/Rick-Clunn-tin-boat.html and here's a handful of photos. I hope they relay what an amazing event this really is. Byron Velvick and Ish Monroe Gary Klein, Mark Davis, Rick Clunn, and Shaw Grisby Rick Morris and Boyd Duckett Steve Kennedy, Peter T, and Shaw Grisby Terry Scoggins, Greg Hackney, Kevin VanDam, and Scott Rook Kevin Wirth REALLY likes them Louisiana crawfish!
  8. Can anyone name who this guy is?
  9. Hey guys, I am having a GREAT time here! Today was "Media Day" where we got to interview the pros. It's was awesome just being there amongst them all, but being able to interview them and hear the different answers really gave some insight into how they think. We have some great video footage that I KNOW y'all will really enjoy. Here's a quick clip from my interview with Rick Clunn, where I ask him about his reasons behind using a tin boat at the Classic: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/Rick-Clunn-tin-boat.html More pictures to follow tonight, but we have to run off now to another media event. I wish you guys could be here! 8-)

  14. I am here at Shreveport Louisiana covering the Classic. Today was the last day of practice for the Elite Pros, and I'm right in with the action. I went with Mike Iaconelli. Enjoy the pics!

  20. All the major carriers have about the same coverage now. It's table steaks. The smaller carriers like MetroPC have limited coverage.
  21. x2!
  23. T-Mobile not only offers several pay-as-you-go options, but also offers contract-free rate plans too. Best thing to do would be to call them or go into a store. They'll help you find the plan that's right for you. They'll even show you a true coverage map (unlike the other carriers!). It's worth checking into at least.
