Welcome aboard! A "mook" is a term of endearment, that used to be a derogatory term. Sorta like punching your buddy in the arm after he told a groaner of a joke, and calling him a putz. A "mook" in kind of a goofy person.

Please, please PLEASE read the FAQs! I'm getting innundated with PMs asking all the questions that are in the FAQs. Fair warning - I will not answer those PMs, so it's in YOUR best interest to read the FAQs first. You'll get a faster answer that way.

Why waste time catching fish you know you'll cull later in the day? I don't live in "big fish country", but still fish for the "bigger fish" relatively speaking. I think it's a waste of time to limit on the smaller, easier fish and then switch tactics once you have a limit. The only time I fish for the smaller fish, is when it's getting near crunch time and I still don't have a limit.

Been playing too, but you stumped on all but the first two (didn't want to jump on those just yet because I wanted to give everyone a chance). Now you're stumping me.

These are the people who have reserved cabins: Flukemaster RW Ghoti Jimzee (Blaine) Everyone else - if you booked a room or cabin, they don't have it on the books! If you have been left off the list, please call Patty Tucker immediately at 256-505-6601 by 4pm Central TODAY. Otherwise they will no longer hold the rooms/cabins for us and you're on your own.

I don't think this is major issue. 1, maybe 2 people a year accidentally delete themselves out of how many thousands here? The development effort isn't justified.

Are elite pros coming here? Definitely. Are they posting? Honestly, a few told me they did once or twice, but honestly I didn't ask, so I don't know. I was just delighted they're coming here and finding the site useful to them.

Get to a safe place as soon as you're warned! Great advice. Earlier today, while I was checking the weather report for Guntersville (which was looking good), I decided to check the Lake Fork weather while I was at it. WOW! Flood watch, flash flood warnings, high wind warnings, and a tornado watch! It's 70 degrees at Guntersville as I write this. 8-)

Just got this e-mail from Gary: So he's healing, but it's going to be awhile before he's 100%. I ALWAYS wear my PFD, and won't run the boat until everyone has theirs on as well. I'm the same with seatbelts in the car. Use 'em folks. They save lives!

Would have been nice if you could have made it, Karol. Sure would've been nice to get a few firsthand pointers on Guntersville from you. Oh well, maybe next year. We'll catch a few pigs for ya!

Ok guys... this is getting political now. Fair warning.

This is very true. At the Classic, virtually every pro and company exec knew of BassResource.com, and admitted to coming here often. They don't register often, but they do read what's here. I won't reveal their names, but some of the pros came up to us during the Classic to say something about a post that was made earlier in the day. I got the feeling they wanted to keep their privacy, otherwise I would mention names, but also don't want to come off as some site owner trying to sound "cool" by name dropping - like some other sites do. : I respect their privacy and boundaries.
