Yeah we set the right amount of traps then we spend our time jigging & watching the tipups. Basically my question was is there anything to use other than minnows on the stationary tip-ups.. I mean they work obviously was just curious if anything else worked.

This coming ice season will be my 2nd. Had my buddy show me the ropes and had a blast. Its getting close again so of course i am already trying to prepare. When we set the tipups we always used minnows but we went a few times a week and that added up money wise. We enjoy catching bass / Perch / Crappie was wondering what other baits we could use to set the tipups with other than live bait.

Haven't been fishing much lately but i am heading down to a lake here in Haverhill. Gonna bring my waders and put some hours in. By 2:00 only suppose to hit the upper 60s so hopefully the bass are moving around freely looking for something to eat.

What do you guys recommend for a reel for the Okuma Guide Select Series Heavy?? I am also new to swimbaiting.

It sucks, it was most likely leaning against a tree I was obviously coming back for it. This town (Haverhill) is such a dump.. I am fed up.

Packed everything up the other day and left my St Croix mojo Bass rod at the lake. Turned right around after I got home and of course someone took it $140 down the drain.

Good stuff dogbone. If that bass was smaller the other bass would of definitely tried for it lol. Went out Saturday during the rain and thunderstorms on a canoe. Couple dinks but overall very slowww.

Philips Pond, Sandown NH can anyone tell me where the boat launches are for this place.

I caught 3 really big turtles and each one didn't move much until I got it outta the water. It basically felt like I was reeling in a tree. Still could of been a turtle but I would go with a big cat.

Was wondering if anyone fished Hunts Pond in Sandown NH. Really small pond that looked fairly private. Caught about 15-20 dink bass on top water frogs. Any lunkers in there?

Went to my buddies house yesterday in Sandown NH and hit up Hunts Pond which looked fairly private. Caught about 15-20 dink bass around a lb or so but all off top water frogs which is always fun. Had a good time.

Yeah I tried those Rage Frogs and wasnt a fan of them. I use the BPS Humping Toads I think their called. I was 3/3 with them tonight.

The full moon tonight really helped me and my buddy out tonight. All my fish came off topwater frogs.. He had his luck with Rapala. That tiny baby bass got caught on a rooster tail lol.. (Released Unharmed)

Don't give up brotha. This year for me has been also junk. With life and other things happening I haven't been able to go nearly as much. If I am lucky I go once every two weeks. For me on the season I got those two bass and one down in Florida.. Take a break but don't give up.. Try night fishing if u can.. Work the shore lines with some cheap frogs u guaranteed to get some blowups.

Cloudy and Rainy yesterday the pickerel bite was on and managed a 2lb bass off a senko. I need to get out on the boat bad.

My marine battery fell off my tailgate and is leaking acid I think its be beyond fixing. I have another battery in my garage that's smaller I use for my gator tracktor. Its a 12 volt. Will it work for a small blowup boat and trolling motor?

That stinks.. Not familiar with norwood or the area. If you havent already, open up google maps ive found so many bodies of water that arnt named and hold fish. Night fishing is awesome! Top water frogs are fun as hell at night. If you get a full moon youll be slaying them all night!

This year has been weird and I also haven't been fishing nearly as much as I want to. Some weeks I don't get out at all. Last night I was using a real nice blue senko with white flakes wacky rigged. Had another one on the line about the same size but he jumped and spit it. I guess I missed the bass spawn?? That's what everyone is saying... Pretty bummed because we killed it last year.
