fishing in the elements tonight with the rain... My buddy got this 5+ lber

Slaughtered them tonight on swimbaits... 8 bass all over 2 and a half lbs biggest being 4/10 9:30 til about 11:00 was the most action.. Amazing night

does a small swivel effect the way lures work? just seems like a pain in the ass to keep tying each one when i wanna switch.

he cheated lol.. he used a leftover minnow these people left we were sitting on this stone wall and all we hear is drag peeling almost lost his rod. They definitely started biting around dark 8:30 and after.. This other dude we were with landed a pickerel which was the biggest i ever seen. I never weighed one before but that came out to 3lbs.. It was real thick.

I am looking to purchase a pair of waders but not really sure how the sizing works for them. I'm 6ft4 about 250

landed a ton of rainbows this year during the stocking. I first put on a 1/4oz weight (slider) then tie on a small swivel then take another swivel and turn it backwards and tie that on. Then you wanna take about 16-24 inches of very light line i prefer 8lb test because trout are very smart and can see real good. Then i just tie on the smallest hook they sell and cover it with powerbait. My favorite is the rainbow colored paste. Check to see if it floats then give it a nice cast out there! Keep an eye out and see if you can see them breaking the surface.. I have most of my luck early AM or right before sundown. good luck

tonight was windy as all hell but i managed to land my first bass of the season on my rapala perch lure and i landed a massive pickerel off one of those sunfish swimbaits by storm

first alright size of the year, caught it off my rapala perch lure

was out trying some lures during the day caught 4-5 small bass and a pickerel. Then i went with my buddy after work for a couple hours landed some more bass and i got a 2lb rainbow. not long til the big ones start coming closer to the shore!

Caught 5 rainbow trout yesterday all over 14 inches that was a good time

I fish the merrimack river for stripers usually end of May early june is when you start seeing them come up the river. Landed my personal best last year 10lbs 32" on the last day of may. Not a massive fish by any means but it was fun as hell reeling in and seeing it jump around. Caught it on a blood worm. looking forward to doing some more serious striper fishing this year

Are they still effective if theirs no crawfish in the body of waters i fish at?

I stumbeled upon a few good videos of people using the rage craw. Not using them as a trailer but with a simple bullet weight what's the best technique? Sink and pull up slowly?
