Ok.... I have read some articles and they say bass are more spread out around cover in muddy water, and tight to cover in clear water, then I read a few other articles that claim the exact opposite. Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks.

Im not really good at picking out actual size but I have heard bass can eat other fish that are 75% the size of the bass.

Hey, Im looking for a club thats near Hastings or the cities. Also I would possibly consider a club that is in eastern Wisconsin as well. I would be a non-boater so if any clubs in that area are looking for more non-boaters. I can easily get to the lakes since I can drive just looking for a club based in the south eastern area or eastern (MN or WI). This would be my first club as well. Does 12v or 24v make much difference?

Also is it possible to put a 40 lb thrust bow mount minn kota all terrain on it? Im guessing 40# will be enough and rather save money if I dont need a 55#.

I have been fishing from shore for 5 years now ever since my dad sold his Lund Explorer, but he doesnt want to buy a expensive boat again so its up to me to buy a boat. Ill have roughly 2,000 to spend and I saw these mods you guys put on jon boats and that got me really interested in them. Im looking at probably a 14' jon, and I would like to put mods on it. Probably put a 9.9 on it with a trolling motor. Do any of you guys know sites that show different mods and how to do them? Also is a 14' jon boat pretty stable to stand in? Because I tend to stand more than sitting when I fish. Thanks all!

Ya, Its kinda sad to see any event that involves fishing to start falling apart, I wish I could find more events here in Minnesota that deal with bass fishing but I cant find much.

Hi, Im new to tackle making but sounds very fun and rewarding. Im curious if i should start hand painting or start with an airbrush and do any of you have websites were I can look at the airbrushes? Also I think im going to start out doing poppers and then crankbaits, I heard old broom handles work well for poppers so that is probably what I will do.

Here in Minnesota it is illegal to use sunfish as bait.
