  3. Thanks for the info, I am just a little unsure about the veritas because the actions I hear run a bit stiff, as do my vendettas. I havent heard much negative talk about the Verdicts in regards to action as compared to the comments about the screw down on he reel seat and adjustable butt end.
  4. I have decided to sell my Vendettas to upgrade to either Veritas or Verdict. I am getting a "deal" so the price isnt the deciding factor. Best value overall is. I have researched a ton and have held and messed with the veritas and I like them more than my vendettas enough to upgrade. Now the question is, do I spend a few extra dollars per rod for the Verdict. The retractable butt on the Verdict is not important to me. I want sensitivity, value, and considering the actions run a bit stiff, is it best to go with the verdict rods? I am thinking about using the veritas for the reaction bites and rods that are for finesse applications, go with the Verdict. What you all think?
  5. i agree about the 7'-0" abu vendetta, best bang for your buck!

  8. Wow, That's the first real negative comment of a H2O bait i have ever heard, everyone seems to have a pretty positive opinion when it comes to H2O.
  9. Just wondering what you all think comparing the 2 companies product. I dont have either one mainly use rogues and x-raps, but i plan to purchase some shortly. I can purchse some used pointers and staysees for 9.25 a piece or are the H2O baits just as good? Do the H20 jerkbaits have the action like the staysee or the pointer? Any information about either product and how they compare would be great! Thanks
  10. Thanks to all that have responded!

  12. The reason i want to buy so many is the fact that the prices are going up, i dont want to say later on that i should have bought a bunch when i had the chance, a guy i know is getting them for me for whatever they cost (3.69), he lives in TX

  15. I didnt get up there, I decided to take the weekend off from fishing and put the new liner in the pool, stain the deck etc, hook up the new pump and get it re-filled which made the wife happy . I took off friday and went to Shenango river lake and fished til like 2 caught about 28, half of which on the DT6 and others on cabin creek spider jigs, tubes, jigs, etc. It was pretty easy to catch them, i bet a dozen of them i caught sight fishing. I think most of the females have spawned already, there are fry everywhere. what did you catch them on up at PIB? I am going up for sure this weekend, what would you recommend for techniques or a gameplan? thanks!
  16. This boat is different then my last boat, how do I access the nipple to grease the bearings? Do I have to take the bearings out also and grease pack them? i dont even know how to get the cover off. The past owner said it is grease not oil hubs. The boat is a 2002 ranger 175vs if that helps. do i have to take a rubber mallet and work the hub cover off or take off the wheel? Thanks to anyone that can help me.
  17. I only use mono 12lb low vis green
  18. I running it just like i would a normal crank, I broke 2 sunday, throwing shallow 1-2ft then cranking to around 7 ft at the boat. i didnt think it was over stressed like it was digging in to the rocks and getting hung up. Heres a pic of the two i broke off, second one is cool, i didnt get the bottom half back it sunk before i could grab it.

Im extremely excited to finally get up there, I have always wanted to catch quality fish, one after another. Has anyone tried to DS along weed edges? i was gonna DS Gulp Alice minnows & Leeches.
