I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!! :-* Started fishin 2yrs ago when i was 28(dad never liked fishin)buddy of mine invited me to the public lake, and i snagged about 20 1-3lb cats that day. Had to have his daughter handle and remove the hooks for me. After that went about 2-3 more times that year and got skunked. So i did a google search, and after visiting 100s of sites, this is the one i always came back too. Everything ive ever wanted to know is here. BaitMonkey got me as well, 2yrs of fishin and i got 14 rods and probably $800 of crap to catch all sorts of fish with. oh and moved into an over priced condo with a private bass pond in the backyard

lets see, respolled my rods, re-organized tackle boxes, got more rods for x-mas and spolled them, got gift cards went to store and got more lures, reorganized tackle box. on warm days went outside to test respolled rods, hit a bunch of geese, and watch every freakin fishin show i can. Oh and playing Warcraft like trying to convince myself its funner then fishing all day long.

kansas here, Went fishin before the end of the year in my pond. Scooped(with my hand) up a 1inch shad that was alive, but probably frozen. threw him out as far as i could only to watch him come back to the shore. With the pond in the back yard, ill go whenever there is a few 40*-60* days in a row and no freakin WIND!!!!! > and ill start goin more often as soon as i actualy catch something. it always a good time to hook 1oz weights to my cat pole and try to hit the gazzilion geese in my pond this time of year ;D

2 tackle boxes, a good sized box, a laundry basket, a dozen fishing rods all im my living room beside my tv the wife just loves it.

Just spent the morning watching fishing shows. Then went to GanderMTN to burn up my gift cards and take advantage of there sales. I have respoiled all my reels, reorganized my tackle box. Watched the geese destroy the layer of ice on the pond outside. Im goin crazy!!! Bring me SPRING!!!!!

got gift certifacates to gander mtn. An electric meat slice(oh yea its massive beef jerky makin time now) and a shakespear bait caster combo, that the rod was shattered into splinters when i took it out of the ups box :'( good thing pops saved the reciept.

i work 2nd shift hell, i ordered the sports teir from cox just for fishing shows and football,(mostly hunting but some fishing) i even stayed up till 7am to watch the good shows(gotta get up at 12pm to make it to work) WINTER SUCKS!!!!! oh and do you realy wanna watch the guy on tv fishing, get skunked for 30mins :-X

Caught me a 3' scooby doo rod. Cleaned it up, greased it down, spolled it with 15lb line.

I live in a condo built around an old sand pit. Are HOA has alot of rules for the pond. One rule is,"if your guest is fishing or around the pond then you have to be with him." also the HOA spends alot of money every year on the pond. Stocking cats, and dealing with the algie. The bass are not allowed to be kept. From the prospective of a person who lives on a sand pit like your, I pay alot of money every year to have access to this slice of haven. And dont want it opened up to the public.

mine stays in my wallet until i do the 10yr cleaning and then i throw them away.

Kansas picked up fishing last year from a buddy. Just worm and hook fishing for Cats, i was hooked the first time i actualy caught one. this year spent ALOT of weekends out at the lake catfishing(catch alot of deffernt fish on just a hook and worm) then i moved into a condo with a lake ;D screw the condo i got a lake filled with bass. 8-) moved in at end of august, never caught a LMB till then, and i tell ya the fishin was good 1-3# mostly, but snagged a 5# on my UL i bought just for fishing the pond. The pond is 1-2acre tear drop shape, no motor boats(dont got a boat yet anyways) pond is an old strip pit from 50yrs ago and was told is 35ft deep strip in it. Now its almost the end of october. 3weeks and only fish i pulled out was a 1# perch, is my fishing over for the year? Ive tried everything in my tackle box(im a buyaholic) Please help me, my noob butt need to land some more fish before it gets to cold :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Im lucky enuff to live in a condo with a 1acre 35ft deep old sand pit lake. Some days i catch em like crazy some days they wont bite anything. I love it. probably only 5-6 people in the condos fish it. on the other hand bass fishing(fishing for anything fo that matter) is deffenatly a challenge when on a 5acre like there 400 poles in the water every weekend.
