Bad People To Do Business With?
There's an old saying, "You can't please everybody.", and another, "Some people are impossible to please." Both are true. Some complaints are legit, while for others, the complaints are baseless. Others are simply the result of an honest misunderstanding. Customers' reviews of products are helpful. But even there, you'll find that you'll find serious complaints about products that overall receive excellent ratings. There are times when customer service trumps price. When I was lobstering, I bought all my electronics from a local guy, and developed a great customer relationship with him. His prices were a bit higher than the mail order outlets, but, if you made your living on the water, whether a fisherman, took parties on tours of the bay, operated a boatyard, etc., he'd give you priority over non-customers or the recreational guys. On more than one occasion I brought in a radio that was acting up and he'd clear a section of his bench and fix it while I waited. If I had a problem with something like the radar that couldn't be brought into the shop, he'd meet me at my boat after he closed up his shop for the day. If it needed a part he had back at the shop, he'd meet me early in the morning and install the part the next day before opening his shop. When you depend on equipment to make a living, that kind of service is priceless.

"that Doesn't Count"
It wouldn't count if you caught it from the fish tank at a BPS. Other than that, pond, lake, creek, it's all good.

Really Ncaa?!?!
May I suggest shuffleboard? I think BINGO would be too much strain on your heart.

Raddiosn Winter Storage
Divide the length by three, and support it at each end of the middle section. If the canoe is fifteen feet long, support it at five feet from each end. Then you need to decide, do you want it right side up, or upside down. The advantage of right side up is you can store light gear such as PFDs, cushions, paddles, etc., in the canoe. Store it upside down and you won't have to worry about critters using it for their winter home.

I'd say they were both deflowered.

Parenting 101
Parents are responsible for their children's behavior. Telling your child to respond in kind is the wrong lesson. The first action is for you to have a conversation the other kid's parents. Maybe they'll deal with their little troublemaker, maybe they won't. If they do, problem solved. Telling your son to punch the guy in the snot locker may end up with your son getting a real beating. If that happens, then what do you do? Beat up the kid? Beat up his father? That can get you in real trouble. The world is bad enough. It would be worse if all of us took matters into our own hands every time someone wronged us. There are authorities to handle such matters, whether they be physical attacks, theft, vandalism, you name it. If the playground is part of the apartment complex, and the parents won't deal with their little darling, perhaps a heart to heart with the owner or the manager might be the solution. They could ban the brat from the playground for a few days or weeks. I doubt your son is the only victim. All the management has to do is approach the parents, and tell them they have received complaints about the pinching, without identifying the source of the complaints.

When Is The Last Time You Invited Someone Fishing ?
Wednesday afternoon. Went yesterday. Caught a lot of fish. Beautiful fishing day on a lake you wouldn't want to fish on a summer weekend. Cloudy with sprinkles, then an hour or so of steady rain, and very little wind. Only two other boats on this 1400 acre lake, with who knows how many miles of shoreline. Great structure. Great cover.

Children's Toys
Cap guns and BB guns. Now you're talking. But you left out slingshots, which we made using innertubes we'd get from the junk pile at gas stations. Red tubes were the best. I think they were natural rubber. Tubes, a thing of the past for automobile tires. I think they still use innertubes on trucks with the split ring type of wheels. Then we discovered latex rubber surgical tubing. That would make a slingshot that could kill. It would put ball bearings through 1/4 inch plywood.

New Push Mower
Maybe he's like the guy who drives his John Deere riding mower down the front steps of his city apartment, mows a two foot wide strip of grass that's about ten feet long, then drives it back inside.

This Doesn't Seem Right..
"Hello! let's do like this, actually now I'm not in town for now, I came to visit my son so i wont be able to meet with you but am ok with the condition as seen on the advert, I'll proceed in issuing a Check out to you and when you received the check , I will make arrangement for pick-up. So get back to me with below details asap." I'd say the scam is this. It can take up to seven days for a check to clear, depending. So buyer sends out an overnight check. Seller gets the check the next day. Buyer makes arrangement to pick up the boat. Will the buyer pick up the boat, or will he send someone to pick it up? Either way, buyer gets the boat before the check clears, which of course it won't. Why do I say that? Would you send a check to a private party you've never met on their say so, especially when the reply has the same grammar as many phishing schemes (I am a God fearing person)? The boat is gone, and so is the buyer. The only way any sane person would send a check under these conditions is if the check is no good in the first place.

Motor Trimming Issues
Intermittent problems like that could be a poor connection in the wiring, usually a poor ground. When the engine is running, the battery voltage is usually higher than when the motor is not running. Check all your connections. Be sure they are clean and tight.

New Push Mower
It only lasted thirty years, and you're going to get another mower from Sears. I guess some people never learn.

My wife has a Droid. Periodically she has to remove the battery, and reinstall it. The phone will freeze, or do some other weird things.

Galvanized Trailer And Treated Bunks
I don't know about cedar since I have no experience working with it. Cedar is used in boatbuilding. There is red cedar which is usually used for closets and trunks for storing clothes. There is white cedar which is used in rowboats, canoes, skiffs, etc. I really have no idea if it is suitable for bunks.

Colonoscopy Prep Has Commenced
The prep is to clear out your large intestine to get a good video. How would you accomplish that without the prep. And, they do "anesthetize" you for the procedure when you go through the prep.

Colonoscopy Prep Has Commenced
Been there. Done that. If the drink you are referring to is magnesium citrate, there ain't nothing gentle about volcanic eruptions. You might consider a seat belt to keep you from blasting off through the ceiling.

Galvanized Trailer And Treated Bunks
If you can find some long leaf, yellow, southern pine go for it. It is very resistant to rot. Most of the wood shrimp boats in the gulf and southern states were built of yellow pine.

Galvanized Trailer And Treated Bunks
I'd stay away from pine, unless it's the southern yellow/long leaf pine. Too soft and often with sapwood (the wood near the surface of a log) which is not very durable. I'd pay the extra for fir. It should last for years.

Galvanized Trailer And Treated Bunks
I've viewed the question, and cannot provide you with a definitive answer. They used to use copper in the solution for pressure treating lumber which could cause a reaction with the zinc which plates the fasteners. Zinc is used in sacrificial anodes to prevent electrolysis and galvanic action from destroying critical metal parts of a boat such as fastenings, propellers, propeller shafts etc. A few years ago, if I'm not mistaken, they stopped using solutions with copper, and I have no idea if what they now use will react with zinc. It may not be a problem either way, since the trailer does not remain in the water for any length of time. This does not definitively answer your question, but it's the best I can do.
