I love them for T-rig or Carolina rigs. The feel you get is far superior to lead. The cost though can be a bit to absorb. I do use less expensive alternatives when I may lose more tackle then normal.

Very few companies put quality hooks on their baits. You should always change out hooks that are not of good quality. That could be your new personal best lost due to a dull, lousy hook.

I had this exact issue a year or two ago. The baits had never been out of my garage and never saw direct sunlight. I store hundreds if not over a thousand baits and never had an issue with any of them except for the SKs. That said, when I contacted Chris at SK he took good care of me and replaced all baits. If you like them I wouldn't hesitate to keep buying and throwing them if they go bad they will replace them. Great customer service.

Looks like a Rio Grand Cichlid. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/huntwild/wild/species/cichlid/ One of the Small mouths pictured looks to be a Guadalupe bass or at least a hybrid Guadalupe/Small mouth. Good day and nice fish, congrats!

Bassman hit the nail on the head. From a study I saw some will never stop biting, some will become conditioned not to bite a bait and others will be difficult to ever catch. No clear answer to a particular fish.
