  2. well yesterday was my birthday and i accumulated $150.00 some of it in basss pro shop gift cards and i got some thinking to do i could go to bps and look around but im pretty stocked up from xmas or i have a customer selling a slightly used st croix legend elite 7ft med spinning rod for sale for $200.00 i was going to replace my slightly used shimano crucial rod with this st croix rod but was wondering ive been reluctant to pull the trigger since ive never owned such a high end rod is there such a big difference in sensitivity from a crucial rod ? i mostly fish with worms (senko) a small grub type jigs .my customer im sure would let me take it out and try it but the ice around here wouldnt be thawed until late march . for all you high end rod owners is there a big sesitivity difference for the money ? what would you do?
  3. -7 outside here when it gets this bitter i leave the kitchen faucet drip because it freezes in my 5 year old townhouse .i woke up a 2.30 am and checked the faucet cold water fine, hot side froze got so ticked i started taking off the drywall in the unheated garage below looking for the copper lines only to find they are up above the header. i guess running behind the kitchen counter and stove i guess i will wait for the sun to warm up the outside wall ive ripped out enough drywall. how many days till spring ?

  7. for those of you who are struggling with weight problems walking is a great thing to do every day,try going for a walk in the evenings most people are inactive at night even a 20 min walkaround your neigberhood after dinner can help alot . ever think about buying some dumbellls or weights because the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn throughout the day. i tell some of my friends to write down everything they eat throughout the day alot of people are amazed at the empty calories they consume look at what youre eating on the list and replace it with a healthier altenative. eat mostly live foods oatmeal wholewheat bread skim milk eggs chicken salmon frozen vegetables fruit etc try and stay away from processed packaged foods eat small portions of healthy food every 3 hrs and eat most of youre calories when youre active throughout the day, eat sparingly in the evening when youre least active and get rid of the junk in the house so youre not tempted. its ok to splurge once in awhile just keep it to a minnimum. sorry about rambling i have a twin brother who has always been big and broke his ankle last year and balloned up to the point where he wanted to get life insurance, last week they came to the house to weigh him and refused to insure him a big eye opener for him. for years ive been trying to get him to eat right and excercise. we work together and i love him to death and my biggest fear is that he may die if he doesnt lose some of this weight
