I’m looking to buy my first Nrx + rod for throwing 1/16-1/8 finesse type jigs like bitsy bugs with trailers and light Texas rigs in the same weight class in river system that i wade.Thanks.

I love the TRD bugz as a trailer on the back of a 1/16-1/8 Bitsy bug jig with a trimmed up skirt. I usually add a drop of super glue gel to keep the bugz attached. I love those heads.I wish they made a 1/16 oz version also.- Waders and Wading Shoes
I wear a pair of Neoprene waders in the spring and fall when the water is the coldest. Most of the summer I just throw on an old pair of pants or shorts and some old hiking boots and wade in those.- New store opening by me.
Is the fishing department pretty decent ?- New store opening by me.
I’m not sure if this is the proper location for this but here I go…There is a new chain store opening down the road by me called Runnings. I popped in there to take a peek and it looks like it’s going to resemble a farm & Fleet type layout but the fishing and gun departments look to be very large according to the layout (Yes !!! 😄) One of the employees working in there told me that Runnings is an 80 store chain so I was wondering if some of you have one nearby you and if so how are the fishing departments ?- Rate the song above you

Pit Boss,Rage bug.- Overrated whiskey...
I’ve only had a couple different brands in the higher price range (Blantons and Hunt & gather) and I wasn’t impressed with either of them for the money.I’m an everyday drinker (moderation 1 highball) so I keep the price range around $30. Lately it’s been Evan Williams for $23 …Not a high end blend by any stretch but it gives me my afternoon buzz…LoL.- What’s your favorite…
Yes. Tiny size and midsize rage bug works great.Other favorites of mine are the small size pit boss, small size river bug (bass pro) TRD (excellent glued on for a trailer).- Torn between getting a light or ultralight
I have a 7’ light fast action St Croix Eyecon matched up with one of my U.S. reels.I caught my biggest bass ever on that thing (24inch).I love that combo.- Rate the song above you

Was that the guy who was stealing all the lures and reselling them ?- Finesse skirted jig recommendations
I use the 1/16 and 1/8 oz bitsy bug jigs. They can be had for around a $1.70 on sale. At that price losing them isn’t that painful.- Inactive members
Fishing Rhino,Sirsnookalot,A name from way back…..Bass n Blvd.- 1/8 oz skirted football jig.
I fish a river system close to my house that is generally waist deep in most places with an occasional deeper hole here and there. My go to jig the past couple of years have been the cheap Bitsy bug jig in the 1/16 and 1/8 ounce size. I find these lighter jig weights pretty effective in the current with the only downside being that the pointy type jig head gets caught up in the rocks. It’s not uncommon for me to lose a few on every outing .This got me thinking that maybe something like an 1/8 oz skirted football jig might be a better option for me.I did a quick research on Tackle warehouse but could only find some 3/16 and bigger.I found some 1/16 and 1/8 football heads so maybe I can make my own. Just curious if there’s a vendor out there who makes a finesse football jig in that size.- Rate the song above you
