man im glad you posted this topic because me and my wife would like to buy a laptop also and were both newbie like with computers (older)im not sure myself what to look for and what to stay away from and how much do you have to spend to get a decent one , i was reading up a little on the internet about them its kind of confusing because there are so many . i hope we both get some answers .

thanks for bringing this topic up ian , im also a newbie at fishin and been having the same problem as you. the night before i would go fishin i would read up alot on fishin only to get out there and forget most of it ,im glad i stumbled on this topic and read these replys im going to try and downsize it keep it simple

first snowfall of the year (today) and i cant find my gloves i cant find my hat and the #*+ snow brush and snow shovel are missing

its alot of work to store the stuff and trying to untangle the mess ,than a big wind comes and half of it goes out i like to just pile everybody in the car and go drive around and look at everybody elses.

this is realy good reading , this past summer ive been fishin at a golf course pond that has northern pike in it which i didnt know ive never caught northern pike before and i was fishin for bass ,i caught two in a row on a spinnerbait they were about two feet long and i just grabbed them by the gills and used my long pair of pliers to unhook them i would hate to try and unhook a bunch of treble hooks out of one of these things while they are thrashing about.

how sad for the family of this young man going to work and just doing his job im praying he didnt leave behind a wife and kids .how selfish of the people who did this they probably already have 4 or 5 tvs in the house already all they care about is me, me , me,. i bet personality wise they are the ones tailgating you in traffic and cutting you off. the rest of the world must be shakin there heads when they hear about stuff like this.

i winced , hard to watch it reminds me of going to the dentist for a cavity filled the assistant puts you in the chair and you have those few minutes lying there to think ,you hear the dentist pacing in and out of the other rooms all around you and you no youre time is coming, you just dont know when .

i heard on the way to work this morning that tim mcgraw and faith hill made it on the forbes list of wealthiest married couples they came in at 4th place on the list edging out brad pitt and angelina . this year t im and faith combined to make 35 million .i think they said tim made 23 mil and faith 12mil, i bet the economy isint keeping them up at night.

just curious werent these kids caught ,and didnt anything happen to them ? what age are these kids ? to old for parental resposibility? if so you probably dont have any other choice but to arm yourselves or become a victim of the hooligans.

that is painful to look at , here in illinois we havent got snow yet but its coming soon i put my boat away a couple weeks ago, need to find a winter hobby. instead will probably spend the next few months packin on as much bodyfat as i can from thanksgiving and xmas . missin fishin already.

i leave my marine battery on my work bench in a cold garage all winter every couple weeks or so i hook it up to my 2amp trickle charger for a few hours i always pop the caps off and check the water level because the water does go down once in awhile.

i remember back in the highschool days me and a friend too a trip to the state fair in springfield and i walked up to one of the tents for something to eat and the girl who was working walked up to me with shorts and a tank top and she had hairy legs and hairy armpits hippie like lookin i walked outta there thinkin good luck sellin some food at this tent

my wife just informed me about this little tid bit from her people magazine he says in the article he shaves his armpits because he sweats alot on stage ,my wife asked if i was next i told her i would consider it if it would improve my casting distance by 5 yards or so or help me rake the front yard faster. i told her maybe in his latest song she never cried in front of me he should have worded it, HE never cried in front of me . what do you guys think ?
